FightBeat.com contacted Eddie McLoughlin of Irish Ropes, regarding the rumors STILL circulating that Duddy will fight Pavlik. Mr. McLoughlin was clear this isn't on the table just yet "Look, the people over there in Youngstown, Ohio are all excited, they want this fight to happen" stated McLoughlin. "But right now there is nothing on table. We are focusing on the fight in Dublin on the 20th of October against Prince Arron, and possibly another fight in December."

In our exclusive interview with John Duddy, he also confirmed that he's currently making some new adjustments and has just started working with his new trainer, Don Turner, so a fight with Pavlik is a bit premature.

So Pavlik will have to start looking elsewhere, because as of this moment Pavlik isn't on Duddy's radar.

I am well versed in the language of promoters and managers.

    Translated for you:
"The fight with Pavlik isn't on our radar at the moment".

This means we think Pavlik will fuck our boy up badly and we are trying to milk as many paydays before our boy is exposed."

no you didnt take into account the dialect it was spoken

    here is the proper translation:

"The fight with Pavlik isn't on our radar at the moment".

"The fight with Pavlik is something we have been approached about but in order for us to cash out our fighter we are going to need a lot more money"

Duddy would get destroyed. His team knows this and this fight will never happen. Duddy will lose to some scrub before he gets a chance to fight for a title.

Which is ALL the More Reason WHY Fuddy Duddy Should Fight Pavlik ASAP...

Who Knows, Duddy MAY Hold his Own for a Round or 2 Before Getting KO'ed in the 3rd or 4th...He MIGHT have his "Moments" where he Connects & Conceivably HURTS Pavlik...

By Suffering an EXCITING KO Loss to Kelly Pavlik, Fuddy Duddy Could Do More GOOD for his Career than ALL of his Previous Bouts COMBINED...

But like U Said, BYPASSING a Pavlik Bout Puts Duddy's LIMITED Ass in a Position to B BEATEN by a LESSER Fighter...He's GONNA LOSE in the Very Near Future, Cause they're Running OUT of Dead Bodies @ the Cemetary...

If U're Gonna LOSE that "O", Do it Against the BEST/Most LUCRATIVE Opponent...

I didn't even think Duddy beat Campas. if the guy is offered a title shot he should be jumping at it.

This is true. Kind of like when Mora should have fought Taylor. I'm sure he'll be losing to some scub soon enough as well. Maybe tonight
