    Agreed. Reed's really pulling hard for the "brothers". It's not the race that's falling off, just the availability of the sport. If anything I expect Euro's to dominate boxing in the future.

    One Dirrell has cancer, the other is a bum. Is there a third brother we don't know about?

    Allan Green showed his lack of "intestinal fortitude" in the Miranda fight and a little colon cleansing isn't going to change that.

    Green is a badass...as long as he's fighting in Miami, OK.

    Eastern Europeans are poorer and more desperate than American blacks. Sure, there are a few white boys in the heavyweight division, but that's mostly due to the problems in Eastern European economies.

    How many great French, Spanish, Irish, British, Italian, Austrian and Dutch fighters are there out there? Kessler and Calzaghe?

    Uh, I dont :nono: . European facilities, coaching, sparring partners, ESPECIALLY German-based,.....blowssss so very incompetantly,.. the house-coaches strictly preserve amatuers,.. America still is the place to go if Europeans (or anyone) want to enhance thier PRO-skills to thier fullest capabilities, the American boxing league is still the strongest and most populated, better sparring and coaching are easier accessed, but most Euro's instead preferr fighting journeyman on Kraut cards, probably because they're lucratively targeted by ex-corperate racists like Wilfried Sauerland.

    Several of my co-workers love the show and after his first performance they asked me if I knew who Floyd was and mentioned that they thought he was "cute" and seemed like a nice guy.

    The next day I forwarded them the link to Money Mayweather's "Yep" video...

    They said they never cast another vote for him after that. :lol:

    he's a boxing star, maybe even a sports star, but not a mainstream star. If he were, he wouldn't have been on Dancing with the Stars, who regularly discourage and reject offers from A-List stars to appear on the show.

    His attention came at the time when every other star got either knocked off or retired. So fans are latched onto the last black superstar left in the sport outside of boring old man Hopkins.
    When Roy bit the dust, people suddenly clinged on Floyd's little jock... the next guy on the p4p list.

    because they'd rather have the results based on scores and who the fans think is the best, rather than fans merely voting for the most popular person. While it is a popularity degree to an extent, it's actually worked out for them, as the right person won in every season (with the possible exception of Season 2, when the wrestler chick was arguably the best).
