Sturm is a serious bum. I can´t honestly tell, but it feels like Griffin should have won, Sturm was really tired in the last 2 rounds again.
Sturm fought a brilliant fight against De la Hoya, and he does win about half his tough fights. He's not someone like Andrew Golota, who loses all of his tough fights.
Sturm can burn in hell. Thats not even his real name. "Sturm", in German, means "Storm" or "Offense" as in "Storm-Trooper". "Felix" means, obviously, "Cat". Offensive Storm Cat. I can't think of a more inappropriate name for the bastard. "Boring Fat Dog With Arthritis And The Snip" would be a better name.
This is the same guy who lost to castillejo...just totally unpredictable for his standing in the division.
Felix means lucky. Just cos some little old ladies call their cats Felix doesn't you're confused. What's wrong with being called lucky storm? Its a stupid name granted, but hardly offensive. He is a bum though.

I thought this was a good fight. Griffin actually showed that's he's come along well and both fought their ass off. No one can accuse Sturm of making lousy fights.
No and I take it that would be my example. :) That said, he's been in some good ones since Oscar, including both JC fights and this one.
No, but he is still good enough to give a lot of guys a hard night. That's good enough for most guys. :)
brilliant fight?:: only reason DLH lost is because he came into the ring a fat bastard. He underestimated Sturm and just stood in front of him throwing punches till he tired. the DLH that faced Hopkins beats Sturm simply by being better conditioned.
Maybe, maybe not. That was Sturm's first real good opponent and he may have done even better in a return.
