Do you mean that the better man in historical sense lost? Because if you do not, then I can't see how a guy can be better if he goes down three times in less than a minute
If THAT is the criteria then.... Ali-Norton Ali-Spinks Holmes-Spinks Holyfield-Moorer Lewis-McCall Lewis-Rahman Louis-Schmeling The list is endless....
if "what" is the criteria? it's nothing other than what i've said. and yes. the list is endless. but some items on it are more interesting than others. this isn't an exercise in finding examples. it's an exercise in finding interesting ones.
Sorry dude, but because the list is so long there are NO interesting examples. It is a common-place happening in boxing. Just off the top of my head... Leonard-Camacho Hearns-Barkley Chavez-Randall Ali-Berbick Duran-Joppy
PBF is clearly a better fighter than ODLH.....:dunno: Also, he's not a closeted homo, like Oscar.... :dunno:
"clearly?" in what sense is it, "clear?" he barely beat him (arguably didn't). and hasn't half the resume that ODH does. get off it.
Steups! Floyd is undefeated. Oscar has lost to every great fighter he faced in their prime with the exception of a couple controversial decisions he escaped with (Quartey and Whitaker). Even STURM beat Oscar! ::
Wow, wow, hold on there, bucko.....Didn't you clearly state IMMEDIATELY after the fight that PBF BEAT ODLH? Yes or no?
question is, who did? 1.tito 2.mosley 3.hopkins 4.pbf (barely) period. everyone else, he beat. and he ducked noone. pbf has moved from class to class ducking real comp because his only redeeming quality is his undefeated record.
Let's settle it once and for all, Double. Because I'm getting confused. In this thread, you said that PBF did NOT beat ODLH, then, in the same thread you claim he DID beat ODLH, then I remember immediately after the fight you said PBD DID beat ODLH, and about 24 hours after the fight you said PBF did NOT beat ODLH. So, did PBF beat ODLH? Yes or no?
:: I'm surprised you didn't say Mayweather-Baldomir. What business do you have saying whether one fighter is better than another when you can't predict a fight to save your life?:dunno: You are either stupid, or you didn't see the Sturm fight. Well both, probably. Just stop posting about boxing; you're useless. I do agree with you that Castillo isn't "real comp" at 135. He sucks.
I think this is supposed to be better AT THE TIME OF THE FIGHT, not in the historical sense, otherwise the list would be endless as Sly mentioned The most obvious one to me is Lewis-Rahman! Lewis was better in every possible way at every point in his career except for that one night.. within seconds after Lewis got counted out I declared that he would win the rematch in a one sided beatdown.
Do you mean the better fighter in the ring, like bad decisions? Or better fighter historically who happened to lose? Either way, the list is extremely long.
