10 days after knocking out Samuel Kebede (25-1) in Germany, Gamboa will fight Adailton de Jesus 19-2 (17 KO´s) in Miami. De Jesus has just lost a decision in a world title eliminator. I wonder whether Gamboa can stop him, but that is a pretty fast track. Another 30 days and he should be ready for Linares. ::

Why the hate on Porras, Jake? He´s apparently better than Berrio and a good comeback opponent after [Crusader mode on]Abraham killed and buried him, and Pavlik stomped and pissed on his grave[Crusader mode off] :crafty:

 

I don't hate him, hell I've only seen two or three of his fights (including once live) and not sure that he's ever been significant enough to like or dislike with any passion. I just thought his name provided ample opportunity to take a shot at Mierda, who I do in fact despise.

I just never liked the guy. I'm never big on shit-talkers to begin with (unless the guy is a longtime friend of mine, no names mentioned, though :: ), but with Mierda always found the hype to far exceed the talent. In all honesty, I've never considered any more than a Colombian version of Mayorga -and quite possibly a lesser-skilled version, which would be really saying something
