Either the day of, or the Monday following Cotto-Shane.

Why this fight is not in Las Vegas is beyond me. Absurd.

Im happy its not. Las Vegas crowd are the worst there is. Tito is huge in NY with the huge PR population there.

He just wanted a pic of Tito standing. After January 19 Tito will be lying on his back for a few Months in the hospital.

They create an atmostphere. Vegas crowds sit on their hands. Cottos fights in NY have been in front of crazy crowds.

it would've been more absurd for this fight not to land in ny.

jones is no longer a draw and there are more ricans in ny.

yea it's an atmosphere alright, surrounded by a bunch of drunk belligerent guys who like to talk shit then start fights.

Mexicans are the same. There was fights breaking out everywhere at Allstate for Morales-Diaz. I didn't see any Ricans in the house.

Kinda like the crickets chirping when I saw Trinidad-Wright at Jillians.

Before the fight you could barely hear the sound due to the "Viva Puerto Rico" cat calls and crap.

By round five, there were scant cheers of encouragement.

By round ten, you could hear sounds from the video games

By round twelve, the room was 75% empty.

    thanks.

anyways, when i went to tito/mayorga, these ricans started fighting on their way out and fists flew all over the place.

there were some dominicans from newark to support jerson ravelo when he fought on the undercard of mccline-briggs and i remember a few of them getting kicked out for being too rowdy.
