Who's the guy that when you hear he picked a certain way, you're immediately inclined to pick the opposite.

In layman's terms...who SUCKS at picking fights!

I have to nominate Double L. The dude is Disgraceful.

    Very true.

He does himself a disservice as a result.

Xplosive has the same tendency, but he's just not quite as bad as Double. I mean...I heard that Double L even picked Baldomir to beat Floyd!

    Honestly - Double L.

I am not kidding when I say that Double confidently picking Kessler has made me ponder betting on Calzaghe, where I otherwise wouldn't.

Kauki is up there, as well.....The cow even picked Taylor against Pavlik  I officially picked Pavlik, with the only reason for picking him was that cow picked Taylor

Dym is on crack again. most of karl's picks are spot on.

I would go with Double L with no doubt. It pains me that Double is picking Kessler and made me change my pick to Joe by a bad decision.

:crafty: Yeah?,..well how about my prediction where I said an old and shot Vernon Forrest will still shut out Fraud's laughable claim for fighter of the year honours in 2006?,..I said, Scrubdomir wouldn't even win 3 rounds,..and he certainly didn't, infact,...:eeeek: I had a couple of members take a sigbet on it, Chilaquiles?...was one I recall,..:crafty: ....but,....I guess I was just to pleased to enforce my options at the time.

He's really on a Kellerman type roll though, he literally gets more wrong than right.

That's why I am considering betting on Calzaghe. I already thought he was going to win, Double L assuredly picking Kessler has just strengthened my belief.

I've had some stinkers over the last few years (ex. Hamed over MAB, changing my pick to Tyson KOing Lemmon) but Double L has a consistency behind his bad picks which certainly brands him a frontrunner in this category.

Not only will he make a bad pick, but he'll immediately start two or three threads shitting on the guy who beat his pick.

    That's what frustrates me!

prime and recent example of this is De La Hoya Mayweather. Double L was adamant, FOR YEARS, that there is no way Floyd could possbly beat De La Hoya, in fact he LAUGHED at the notion. His general feeling was that Floyd would be very lucky to even last the distance.

What happens? Floyd wins..and Double L calls him a fraud, overrated and would pick him to lose to Williams, Cintron, Margarito and anyone else he can think of.

Dude is incapable of analyzing fights with logic. It's all heart with Double L.

well i can afford to make picks with my heart, and give my favorite fighters the benefit of the doubt and pick them against my better judgement because frankly, it's not that important to me to be right when it comes to picking fights.

if i were betting money, do you think i'd actually pick Julio Diaz to beat Juan? or that I'd pick Baldomir to beat PBF (which I always said was a vote of confidence and nothing more)?

so to sum up, it's funny to watch some of you petty bastards actually take pride in picking the right fighter, like it's gonna get you somewhere in life. 80% of fights that get made are utterly predictable anyways. it's just the way the sport is.

    Double,

My main point is how poorly you handle getting your ass handed to you. It happens to all of us but you're pound 4 pound the WORST at dealing with it.

DLH-PBF was six months ago and as of yesterday you're STILL creating threads shitting on Floyd.

    http://www.fightbeat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21256

That's why you win the title in my book.
