Ok so it's coming out in 2009 and is gonna be called the fighter. Mark Wahlberg is gonna play Mikey and Brad Pitt his older brother ..so now somebody fill me in what's so interesting about Mikey to make a movie about him..with a pretty big cast and all..i mean it's not like an Ali movie ..nobody outside of boxing fans really knows who MIkey is ..so why the movie? i don't get it...

Matt Damon was supposed to play Ecklund, but pulled out due to scheduling conflicts. Ward's a popular guy in the MA area. The dropkick murphy's had him on the cover of their album and also mentioned his name several times throughout their lyrics. ward's a better fighter than that heavyweight pussy from poland.

There's a movie in the works about Park Si Hun. If you don't remember he was the guy who got the decision over Roy Jones in the Olympics. They haven't settled on a title yet but an early favorite is "Win at all COSTS"
