Fightbeat continues to grow foks. You gotta love it. Our USA Alexa ranking is #5 and trafficestimate.com has us pushing past boxingconfidential, and closing in on doghouseboxing in total traffic. Maybe with some more hard work and organization we can close the gap on maxboxing in terms of traffic. Eastsideboxing is a fucking monster with more traffic than Fightnews.com Boxingscene is actually closing the gap on boxrec.com for #1 in the world. It's fun to read and watch those number go up and down. I'm happy we continue to improve and gain attention. Cheers. Cupey
Good job, Carlos:bears: . Your hard work throughout the last several years is now really starting to show.
how exact are these numbers for fightbeat. i know for a fact that they aren't even close for some websites...
These figures are normally about 25% lower than reality. For example. Forbes.com claims about 20 million visitors a month but it shows up much lower in trafficestimate. But overall they aren't bad. Which site in particular you think it's way off? C
two german boxing news sites, kinda low caliber in comparison to yours, though - maybe it's harder to estimate in those cases because they don't have much ads on their pages... how much does fightbeat really have?
we've never really had ads on our pages until the end of October where I started using google ads. Also, trafficestimate is visits and not visitors as far as I can tell. So really I have no idea. But I use that with Alexa just to compare sites performance, not to quantify the actual amount of visitors on the site. Cupey
I don't use Google Analytics or other codes because they require implement on every page of the site. That would be a terrible task to undertake
Based on the information I have the correct unique visitor number is around 70K visitors a month. 8.47 pages per visit. over 7 million hits and over 60GB of bandwidth used a month. I hope that helps Carlos
No cupes, can install it on any page you want. It's just a teeny bit of code you put in before the < body > tag at the bottom of the page. Even just having it on the homepage would be huge. You'd get accurate numbers, you'd know how they got here, how long they stayed on the site, where they clicked. It's really quite necessary in order to know what the audience is doing. I really recommend it. Congrats on those stats, Cupey. Well done.
the problem with that is that you would only know where they came from to reach the home page. You would have to put it on every page including the forums to get total traffic. We have cpanel hosting that comes with webalizer and awstats. The numbers I provided above come from there. Cupey
active members of the forums is 722. And to be honest with you, I've been on this board long enough to know if you don't have a thick skin you won't last long here. Did you see the ovguide video they made on fightbeat? They called it a "heated" debate forum. Translation, you will need therapy once they are finished with you on FightBeat
