We have unofficial information that a new possible rival has been mentioned for the current WBA 130 pounds champion, Venezuelan Edwin Valero. Dominican Daniel Äzuqita¨Jimenez., now living in Puerto Rico, is on the top of the list. http://www.fightbeat.com/news_details.php?NW=20720
actually I barely looked at it. fixing it up because I didn't understand what he was saying hahahahahah. He's the spanish version of Joony hahahahaha
Well at the risk of considering you (or the author) misinformed... Jimenez' second opponent was Oscar Rosales. Kinda convenient that his last name loosely translates in English to "Rosebushes", which is what's listed in the article.
Jimenez, 27, has a current record of 17 victories (10 Ko`s) 2 losses and 1 draw Jimenez's debut in 2000 was unsuccessful. He lost his first battle against Teron Glasgow(USA). A year later he scored a draw against American Oscar Rosebushes.
Yeah, I'm going to look at it. I was trying to get out of the house and go through my list of posts, hence you get "rosebushes" hahahahaha
hey, those rose bushes can be tough on you. I can see why he got the draw :: Actually I looked it up in boxrec but I never even noticed it because I just looked at the first name. Damn, I'm really late for the damn press conference.
I actually like Jimenez. Not sure how far he'll go, or if he has a chance against Valero or any other top 130 lb. fighter. But he's a decent fighter, and nice enough kid. He was supposed to fight Benjamin Flores on the ShoBox card we (Cupey and I) attended in New Haven a couple of years ago, only to be pulled at the last minute after failing an MRI. Seems like his career kinda hit a wall since then.
I would like to say thanks to Jimenez for donating his bod for a good cause. The Valero highlight reel.
Valero is what Ali described as a "Washerwoman", meaning that he resembles a woman washing windows as he flails his arms all over the place wildly and amateurishly. I think his style resembles the style of two drunken ladies I saw fighting over the last dryer one late night at a North Las Vegas washateria on Las Vegas Blvd.
This kid is tough!!! Comes forward like Cotto also trained by Cotto's uncle and Miguel Diaz. I seen him beat Vincente Escobedo back in 2006 after being behind by like two rounds. He droped Escobedo in the 7th and won the last round. Great fight but it left Arco Arena in shock.
