I'm asking because I have a hockey game saturday at 6pm (pacific). I will be done, and can get back by 8:30pm... need to know if this will be in time

So, the question is, should I bust ass to make it back by 8:30, or should I just stick around for beers after the game and read about it later on fightbeat ?

The main events generally start in the 8:15 to 8:30 pm area, Pacific Time.

The PPV starts at 6pm Pacific. There are three fights on the undercard. You'd be lucky to make it back in time.

You should buy a tivo or a dvd recorder with a hard drive and use it.

Then you can stick around for beers and watch it when you get back.

I'm thinking at least two undercard fights end somewhat early - Margarito-Johnson and Vic-Maussa. Casa-Santa Cruz will go some rounds, perhaps the distance.

Curious to see how much time they'd kill if it works out that way. Seems like most of HBO's PPV undercards in the past few years feature at least two distance bouts, hence a late start time (for the East Coast, anyway).

    Here's a better question:

What rd will Cotto be forced to throw his first low blow in?

What about his 2nd, 3rd before disqualification finally sets in?

I'll be there Illumi. As those who know me know, I don't buy PPV's, not even for a Mosley fight of this magnitude. However, I could have gone to a friends to watch it but I have to work, so I'll be reading up and posting "I told ya so's" after ever rd Mosley sweeps.

are you already using the Zab Judah excuse?

According to Zab those low blows changed the fight

Kind of like the headbutt changed the first Forrest/Shane fight right?

Your boy might have to retire Tomorrow.:eeeek:

Judah was a bitch in that fight. The only reason he even looked good at the start IMO was because he started winging punches more out of paniced fear than anything else. I'll give Cotto whatever credit he earns. However if he gets hurt and goes low, he deserves to be disqualified. This can't be a coincidence.

Also the headbutt in no way affected the Forrest fight. Forrest was a beast that night and was going to win regardless. Only way for Cotto to beat Shane is if he has his 1 beast fight tomorrow night. If that happens, maybe Cotto wins.
