I think Kauki is confusing Cotto with Zoo (who did struggle against Urkal)

Kauki, a little hint: Cotto is the Puerto-Rican braveheart and NOT the australian pussy. See the difference now?

Viv could :dunno: ,..and he did so years earlier at Urkal's best weight. A young "monster" should thoroughly destroy a 40 year old, seized up, jr welterweight on the cusp of retirement, Cotto failed bad, and Shane is no heartless bitch, he's a wild prowler, he'll make Cotto pout more than he already does 24 hours a day :notallthere: which is ar, quite odd, when did the wind change?..when Ndou scared him to death?

Kauki's picking Mosley with confidence because he knows that one of the best fight analyzers (me) has been saying it since day 1. Mosley will win, and it doesn't matter if it's early or if it's late. He's going to dominate Cotto.

In fact change my pick to Mosley by dominating 8th rd TKO.

This isn't me picking because Shane's my favorite, either. I know both of these guys pretty well and Shane will win. He just has too many intangibles. Experience, speed hand/foot, toughness, heart, chin. Cotto has, youth. He also happens to have the style Mosley's never once had trouble with when at his best. Ain't nobody the same size as Shane going to beat him. Maybe Floyd, but that's it.

I've been on several boxing sites and whether it was sportswriters or boxing posters all the majority were wisely picking Shane except on this site, my home. Shit is fucking embarrasing.

your problem is your stuck in 2000 and that Shane hasn't fought in a while.

He faced oponents that brought less to the ring than Cotto in Estrada, Collazo and Cruz and didn't dominate them.

The first Vargas fight was a close fight when Shane tried to brawl with him.

So stop acting like Cotto brings less to the ring than all them guys and will get dominated until stopped.

If Mosley wins it's gonna be hard for both fighters. Otherwise this fight wouldn't have any hype and anticipation if it was a walk in the park for Shane. Especially when he hasn't dominated anybody since Stone.:nono:

And you're problem is your still living in 20?? Or whenever it was he fought Estrada, Collazo, and Cruz. Mosley may not be the guy from 2000 but he's moved past the Mosley who fought those 3 guys. Also the first fight against Vargas Mosley was not working with his father and hadn't been powerboxing since the Estrada fight. As soon as he got back with Jack, he looked worlds better. I tried to tell everyone that, they told me no, Vargas was shot. Well Vargas may have been, but only a fool wouldn't acknowledge the improvements Shane displayed in his fluidity during the rematch.

By the way, Shane dominated Collazo. If you don't believe me check the scores or do like I did and rewatch it for yourself.

It's funny your the first to claim Shane benefited from working with Jack.

I understand they have a good father/son relationship. But for years people wanted to see Shane try a different trainer because Jack really only go him so far.

I think shane looked pretty good with Goosen in his corner. Maybe he is more comfortable back with his dad. But no way does his dad make him a better fighter at this stage.

Against Cotto, Shane will be facing the best fighter since he fought Winky. No way will it be easy for Shane. No fucking way dude. :nono:

I agree at this stage Shane is still the more skilled fighter. But he likes to brawl too much. Against Cotto that's a no no :nono:

I just don't think old man Shane can hang 12 rounds fighting Cotto's fight. Because they will fight Cotto's fight. Shane will try to prove he can beat him at his own fight and that will be the mistake.

You're speaking in hopefuls. I'm going off of proof. History as shown that once Jack took over training Shane, he looked twice as good in the Vargas rematch as he did in the first fight not to mention every other fight he had since he stopped training with his dad. History has shown that Shane is good at fighting guys who bring the fight to him. He will slip, block, earmuff and take a lot of Cotto's punches while landing more in return. If things get heavy he can use his legs to quickly move out of position.
What does Cotto got? The nut check? :dunno:
It's all this hopeful thinking and not looking at the fighter's history that has so many people picking the wrong fighter.

I do know Shane's history. But unfortunately for Shane this is now - 2007 and that shit won't help him against a younger stronger fighter who gets stronger as the fight goes on.

Shane hasn't been the fighter you claim he is since 2000, your only excuse is that his daddy wasn't there for the bad moments. whatever dude! Fact is Shane is old. He is still a good fighter but he is not in his prime anymore.

When you describe what Shane does you either overrate him or you underrate Cotto.

I guess if Cotto beats him you will claim that Shane got old overnight.

and god knows why you keep talking about Jack Mosley like he is Eddie Futch. Shane is the same fighter he always was. Except he is older:eek:ld:

Kaliber picks Mosley, and Kellerman picks Cotto.

I'm STILL sticking to my prediction.

If Double L picked Cotto, I am changing my pick though, I have to draw the line somewhere.

Fuck all this BS this is an easy fight to pick. Mosley was ok against Nando but Nando was shot. Would Lb4LB pick that version of Nando to beat Cotto? :nono:. I don't care if Double L Kauki and Kellerman all pick Cotto... he is still winning this fight! I don't know what brains LB4LB has lined up for Mosley on other sites, but now way no how!. I will gladly eat crow if I am wrong.... Don't you guys recognize an easy pick!? I am proud that our board reflects a proper spread actually... if the other boards do not so be it.

The spread on this board usually calls the fight BTW.

 I may be inclined to agree with you.

The way I see it, Kellerman has been getting better and Kaliber's streak has to come to an end soon.

    I'm sticking with Cotto.

    TEN HOURS TILL FIGHT TIME!!!!!:bears:
