Felix Trinidad told me that this might be a one-time deal at light heavyweight, but he would stick around at that weight if the right fight comes up. He said Roy couldn't make 160lbs or anything lower than 170lbs, but he wants this fight so bad that he agreed to 170lbs. Papa Trinidad said that he wasn't very happy when Don King convinced Tito to come out of retirement. But he said that he hasn't seen Tito training with this much passion in years, so he's now very grateful for getting him this fight.

Also Roy was very happy about this fight. He said he needed this fight. The fans have always dreamed about this fight and now it's hear. He also said he would be very dissapointed if the fight went past 4.

I'm pumped up about this fight. Two legends getting a crack at each other at the temple of boxing, MSG. This is 24/7 material and I hope HBO puts money behind this.

I see it as two vulnerable has beens, one a former Welterweight and one who's won a Heavyweight title, going at it. It's more of a circus event.

 

Actually one is a former middleweight champion kid and has a fantastic KO ratio.

The staredown was pretty awesome too and both of them put on a good show. They also have mad respect for each other. They were acting like two world class champions and that's what we need. Like Mosley was last night after his loss. A true gentleman and pure class.

That's good, I can't wait to see the video you put up. Even though Roy was fully dressed you can tell he's really in shape from the video, I bet he's almost close to the fighting weight right now.

 

My same thoughts. I am a big Trinidad fan, but I am not watching this mismatch.Tito should had stayed retired. He doesn't even have a puncher's chance here. I pray he doesn't get too hurt.

Actually they both look well. I think both men are older and wiser. They have a game plan and whoever can carry it out will win. I have a feeling Tito will surprise people on how well he fights at this weight. He's a big boy naturally
