Featuring Andrew Brown, Stafford Attz, Sean Reed, and Karl Hegman http://www.fightbeat.com/radioshow.php#theshow
Um... I was actually getting ready to type the opposite :: I'm only 15 or so minutes into the show (Sly is commenting on the abomonation as Casa-SC as I type this), but so far so good. No offense, but prep time makes all of the difference in the world.
Alright finished listening... Great show. Every conversation was to the point, all bases covered, without redundancy and especially refraining from exhaustion. Everyone had equal airtime, with Andrew mixing it up well within each topic, and maximized everyone's strengths. This felt more like a radio show. Great job, everyone :bears: ... so much that I'll even forgive the segment-ending parting shot Andrew took at me ::
:: :: :: Old Stafford sounds a bit like Lewis. Except a bit more English. I almost dozed off on my desk when Sly started speaking.
No excuses, BUT - Mikkel Kessler, 2007 Yesterday was day two of a vicious throat infection that has kept me bed ridden... and DAMN, am I ever paying for that this morning. These anti-biotics better kick in soon. Also, I took the gig on 15 minutes notice. ::
You're the only guy that I KNOW will be listening every week. Thanks for the kind words mon frere.
Very impressive Steve. Good work by all members, no Cowboys references next time please Hegman. Steve you need to get Tam on one week, he would make a good addition :bears:
I agree. I mentioned it to him a few weeks back and he didn't seem to receptive to the idea. Lets force him.
Good Shit Last Night, Fellas!!!:cheer: REED's ONLY "Complaint" is that the Show Seemed to Go By Tooooooo QUICKLY, but Maybe that's a GOOD Thing???:dunno: Thanks ALOT for Giving Us the Format a Few Hours in ADVANCE, Steve-Dave...That Helped ALOT, Dog... REED had a BLAST, as Usual, & Can't Wait til Next Week... REED:clap:
How long did it end up being? I can't see a timer on Cupey's player. I think it was roughly 30 mins, which is pretty good. Show times will always vary when you aren't working on a clock, and although it was a little shorter than past shows, I don't know if you can say it was too short. I thought it went really well. As I said last week, I don't want to change much. Just add a little direction... I don't think we lost any of the "guys chatting about boxing" aspect of the show.
