Now that Miguel showed he can handle speed, what does he do to Hearns with his relentless pressure? This is what he does....NOTHING. Hearns takes him out in 3 rounds.
Word. I hate Cotto and Hearns is one of my favourite fighters but this is bit ridiculous. Cotto just outpointed a very good fighter but since he got hit in progress, we can safely assume that Hearns takes him out inside three? Tommy finished some good fighters early but not all of them
At first glance, I would think Hearns early, but for some reason I see Cotto going into survival mode after being badly hurt in the first round... Cotto goes five rounds after realizing he can't win the fight, he just uses his legs until Hearns cold clocks him again
Though if it had suited his purposes here, that Slystaff fella would have said "Barkley KOed Hearns in three so Cotto could do it too"
Problem with your thinking is that it would have never suited his purposes in this example since the Barkley fight was at Middleweight (and Iran was a large Middleweight) and the proposed fight of this thread is a Welterweight one where Cotto is in fact a small Welterweight.
