I picked Cotto but , I could have seen a draw or even a Split Decision in Mosely's favor ...
The judge who had it 113-116 is an idiot ...
To be honest I thought that Mosely should have won by a point ...
But whatever .. I can't argue the decision for Cotto ..
Mosely definetly didn't leave the ring a man beaten by his opponent ..

116-113 is practically even... I don't understand people that bitch because the judge got it right but his opinion differed by a single round from yours somehow makes him a blithering idiot ??

A round up for Mosely is a huge difference between a 116-113 decision for Cotto .. :dunno:

    I had it a 114-114.

I couldn't bitch about 115-113 for Cotto or for Mosley but giving Cotto 8 rounds means you didn't see the fight or didn't know what you were watching.

AP and Tim Smith had it even and I think Chuck Johnson at USA Today had it even as well. I believe Doug Fisher said the consensus ringside was that it was a draw.

It'll also be interesting to see if HBO pipes in crowd noise for the replay. It was relatively quiet throughout with outbursts when they traded shots. In fact, I recall more chants of "Mosley" down the stretch than cheers for Cotto...I'm guessing Cotto's fans were perplexed as to why he spent the last four rounds backing up.

I think I had it 117-112 for Cotto.

Cotto hit harder than Mosley and his jab often landed like a power shot meaning punch stats wouldn't necessarily mean everything.

People often have the tendency to give a close round to the guy who is behind in their scoring.

There were some close rounds, but bitching about a 116-113 score is just being a bitch.

If I'm not mistaken, a lot of people had this kind of score from ringside. I didn't bother to score it myself so I won't argue one way or the other even though I "felt" Cotto won the fight but even Shane seemed to think he had lost the fight.

I went Cotto SD, wasn't too far off ut the fight didn't follow the patern i expected it too.....i thought Mosley would start off the faster, and Cotto be the one coming on strong late

You SUCK at judging. Aren't you the same guy that had De La Hoya beating Mayweather? Please don't offer your scorecard again. We're not interested!:nono:

Cotto won at LEAST 7-4-1. IMO it was 116-112

Split decision in Mosley's favour? Based on what I ask?

Cotto won it fairly. I have no problem with the official scorecards of 7-5 and 7-4-1.

However I don't think it was a 9-3 type fight.

I thought that this was a very close fight that could have gone either way. I mean neither guy took full control of the action. I won't argue with a 1 or 2 round win for Cotto just like I would not have been mad at a draw. What confuses me is that Shane jumped right back in the ring against Forest, Wright, and Vargas but won't rematch Cotto. Something smells fishy! I'll Holla 5000

Maybe he's gotta take orders from his boss, just like when he decided he'd get his teeth fixed and go on vacation rather than fight Floyd Mayweather.

Why do we have to go through this every time a fight is even remotely close?

It's not like the official judges had it as a wipe out. Two of them had it 7-5.

Cotto won the damn fight, close but clear.

Close fight. Fun fight to watch.

I thought Shane won the 12th round to earn a draw, but I have absolutely zero problem with the official scores. I understand that because I wanted Mosley to win that I probably saw the close rounds the way I wanted to.

jin must have vicious karrine steffans-esque fellatio abilities otherwise it is a mystery why mosley hasn't upgraded that ordinary looking loud mouthed bitch.
