I've gone the opposite way of most when it comes to thsi matchup. When it was first announced I had little interest. but now I'm looking forward to the circus! It's going to be a wild brawl...Foreman-Lyle esque. Both men will go down and it wont last long.
I had to stop about 1:30 into the video, I couldn't take any more. King's lost his edge. "Fernando Vargas is the Fer-Acious one" :: "All of movie screens and movie stars will be out for this one... Paris Hilton will be my guest... David Hasslehoff..."
Come on sly! Vargas can box if he needs to. He's not going to swing for the fences like an idiot. He'll pick Mayorga apart.
Vargas' boxing days are long gone. He's not picking apart shit! He may start off (the first 20 seconds) trying to jab and look slick but that's all going out the window once the madman closes in and starts swinging away. From the first minute onwards it would be a wild crazy knockdown/drag down brawl and when the smoke clears and the dust settles (after no more than 6 rounds) it'll be Mayorga standing with his arms in the air.
Vargas will stop Mayorga in a similar fashion to what Oscar did. Should be a good fight though. Look for Mayorga to foul and foul dirty. opcorn:
damn, I didn't realize this was FB's own video, I thought it was Showtime's video being re-displayed. Glad I gave it a second chance. Nice job on the video. I'll give it to Kristal - not sure what to make of her style, but it's certainly unique.
oh man, i saw this lady at the press room during cotto-mosley and i thought i over heard her mention fightbeat but i wasn't sure. i talked to her briefly during the undercard but had no idea who she was.
Anyone want to do $50 that Mayorga wins, Vargas loses?? First come and all that....{except Reed} Seems like a fair bet. I am going on the premise that Vargas really really is shot.
