    That's quite interesting.
The numerous times I've been to America...quite a lot of them have guessed that I was Australian when I spoke.

I didn't even have time to call them a pompous faggot before punching them in the face.

    The episode was good.

Floyd's antics are expected and rather old and boring by now, but they went deeper into his family issues. Likewise, we've already heard a bunch of times about how Ricky is an everyday guy who likes to go to the pub and all, but they talked about his trainer more, and even showed some clips of him kickboxing as a kid.

I like watching them train, so I hope they show more footage of that in the next 3 episodes.

Floyd is boring, period. His whole act and his in-ring style. Garbage! I hope Hatton buries him.

You can bury somebody alive. He doesn't have to be dead.

I hope they offer those special ring-canvas collectibles after this fight. They cut up the canvas into 100 pieces and sell each one encased in a nice frame epitomizing the legendary fight. I'd like to get the one that will be covered completely with Floyd's blood with maybe a few of his teeth.

True, but I'm obsessed with Floyd for reasons which Floyd himself would not like, even if he enjoys the negative publicity(or claims to).

Well Floyd isn't consistently boring but his last two performances have been too conservative.

Hopefully with an opponent who isn't bigger than him like Oscar and Baldomir were, Mayweather will be less conservative against Hatton. Or maybe Hatton can cut off the ring more effective and make it more interesting. Of course, Hatton can stink out a joint worse than Maywather.

I was talking about Floyds personality being boring.

Better boring than being a phony. Lewis had a boring personality but he didn't try to bring attention onto himself by going around acting like a thug and hanging out with rappers and talking sh*t. Floyd's a fake.

I guess that was the wrong word to use.

A better way to describe his antics are tiresome, repetitive, old.

In all fairness, there were about 15-20 posts in a row discussing either Richard Pryor or Australian accents.

I wouldn't say Floyd's boring, but he does seem stuck on the same template. He believes his personality and attitude draw people to the sport and will keep on keeping on, no matter how old/stale the act grows. As a result, he runs out of new shit to say fairly quickly.

In the ring, it depends on preference. Some people find value in any fight. I agree with Erratic that Floyd's been far too conservative in his past two fights (and for that matter, easing off of the gas in the last two rounds against Zab).

Call it the difference between possessing boring tendencies and being flat out boring. You are right, though, in that the "love-him-or-hate-him" factor makes Floyd among the most discussed in the sport today.
