Interesting....wonder why the mystery? Might be to further build up anticipation. Just hope 99% of the tickets aren't pre-sold like they do in Vegas.
damn, yeah the fight is less than two months away. Tickets generally go on sale sometime during, or at the conclusion of a press tour. Rarely any later than 60 days prior to the event (unless it's a Gary Shawtime promotion, in which case they're usually still searching for a venue a month before the fight :: )
It happened to king down in Florida. But then again, it did have a Shaw fighter on the card hahahahaha
The Chad Dawson fight, you're talking about? Yeah, that was ridiculous. But that was due to a sponsor either pulling out or never financially coming through, forcing King to dick around with the location. Not to mention the torrential downpours that tore through Florida around that time (including the Super Bowl, one of the worst in years)
Anyone ever been to MSG for a fight? Not withstanding front floor row, wondering what kind of seat(view) would get me best bang for my buck.
To be honest, I always found it to be overrated as a boxing venue. The seats in the 100's aren't that bad (though not sure they'll be worth whatever price they're charging - if they ever go on sale), but anything beyond that, and you begin to wonder why you didn't just stay home instead and watch on TV
It's the perfect venue for Roy. They are both overrated! hahahhahahaa. I agree Jake, MSG sucks. There are much better venues around. But that's like fighting in the Colisum in Rome bro, it's beyond having a view. you are a part of history
