This is going to be great. Nothing beats a good matchup. We need more tournaments...especially elimination tournaments. Basically, in three fights, we're weeding out the two fighters that we did not want to see Wlad fight, and the two fighters who were good but not quite there, are getting the good fights to take them there. Even still, I think the winner will lose to Wlad because they're a bit too green.
I hope im wrong but i wish HBO wouldn't waste dates on heavyweight fighters unless they are on an undercard.
Agreed, what are they thinking. The undefeated Olympic gold medalist and world champion against the best undefeated American prospect in a title eliminator to determine the next challenger for their posterchild Wladimir Klitschko. What´s next, they give Oscar a Cinco de Mayo PPV date, just because he asks for it. :: I guess they´ll show the replay of Tito/Roy as the second fight.
If he was afraid of punchers, he probably shouldn't have taken part in an IBF elmination tournament to become Wladimir Klitschko's mandatory.
Generally speaking, how reliable are Double L predictions? Can we trust them 100% or should we expect the exact opposite of what he predicts to happen?
:dunno: It's not like Chambers was hand picked, it's just part of the tourney. Maybe Povetkin has no chin but him taking this fight has nothing to do with that. Especially when he fights a big puncher if he beats Chambers.
