"Amazing" Alex Arthur...he's some sort of an interim champ at 130 i think

yep, he's Guzman's mandatory, and most likely his next opponent should Pac-JMM get finalized.

He's decent enough. He could, in theory at lesat, sneak a world title for a while somehow. I think he just got caught that night being too cocky.

He's not gonna be a long time champ or anything though.

He's not going to beat Joan Guzman, though...

Probably not. I think Joe summed him up pretty much perfectly above...

he's a good solid top 10 contender....looking at the super feather division, there are 2 leagues inside the top 10....Arthur is probably at or near the top of the 2nd league.......he's a very good all-round boxer, and his European title defences have been impressive against some awkward and skillful opponents

A protected fighter, who, in the last 31/2 years since he was exposed and smashed by a punch-drunk Irish bum, has fought nothing but total feather-fisted nobodies.

same things were said about hatton and calzaghe

....not that i am saying that Arthur will go on to achieve what they have, but he's a solid contender and he's beaten some decent opp
