Then, of Course, he'll Need a TUNE-UP Prior to Facing Paul Williams, Moving that Bout BACK to the Summer of '08 @ the Earliest ... On the FB Radio Show, REED Expressed CONCERN for the Cintron-Feliciano Bout POSTPONING Cintron-Williams... SUCKS to B Right Sometimes... REED
REED, I remember you saying that in the Radio show PRIOR to the bout - and you specifically mentioned a cut and a hand injury. You were a prophet in this regard. We'll see....the proof is in the pudding. How quickly it gets rescheduled to a new date will be telling. Peace.
i'll be surprised if it gets made at all. cintron's performance after the fight seemed pretty phony if you ask me. and thing about cintron is he almost always scores vicious knock-outs. that makes him attractive to networks regardless of who he fights. he's probably thinking to himself, "why should i take on wilt chamberlain in my next fight when i could just as easily beat up on a guy like Berto or Chris Smith.
Williams-Cintron is OFF Cintrons hand is too bad to heal by Febuary 2. I hope Williams fights anyway and they can get the fight rescheduled.
And what was the PURPOSE of Feliciano fight?! Williams fought on the SAME day as Cintron in july, did he take an interim fight? Also, sure he didn't go down and took some halecious shots, but I thought he was a bit punch drunk during the interview...
