Joey was hand picked by Emmanuel Steward to join his team. It was a great that Emmanuel recognized Joey as one of the few top trainers who really has the ability to get the job done. He pulled him out of Gleason's and made him a member of his team. He works a lot with Andy Lee and Kermit Cintron while Emmanuel works on his big projects. Cupey

Many champions have ended their career being KO'd. Could a fighter been more embarassed than Gatti was against Mayweather? Gamache is a true gentleman and a freind to FightBeat. He's been nice enought to even do interviews for us and help us out. Great guy. Obviously I understand why people only remember Gamache for his last KO loss. It's video that's widely available. But he was a good fighter in the ring and he continues to support boxing in a different capacity. He's a great find for Kronk and we wish him the best. Cheers. Cupey

The first thing comes to mind is that damn KO by Gatti, BUT why are we ridiculing him for continuing to be in the sport we all love? That's classless IMO.
Is that right, Mr. Hard As Fuck? Well then you and your boy should get a prize, maybe a free set of steak knives or something. Because you will have accomplished what Jeff Lacy, Josh Clottey, Ben Tackie, Alfred Kotey and dozens of other name pros from heavyweight on down didn't do over the course of hundreds of rounds of hard sparring. And if you think I'm fronting, check in with Joey Gamache befIore you or whoever else "step." Joey trained me and witnessed ALL of the above mentioned sparring. Or don't check with Joey and find out the hard way. Not fully recovered from surgery, I also deadlifted over 400 pounds the other day. So once I'm done with you, maybe I'll toss you into the cheap seats like Thunder Lips did Rocky. That said, I appreciate the fact you would never say anything negative about Joey.
