BTW-Hopkins is a great fighter IMHO, but @ this stage in his career, he doesn't beat Joe.

True, at times I guess, but I actually admire (& enjoy watching) his toughness, tenacity, ring intelligence, skill & cagey-ness.
I enjoyed watching him dismantle Tarver, for instance, with such unexpected ease, even if the fight itself wasn't asthetically pleasing as such.

 

Hopkins is not exclusively racist against the white fighters.......

I feel you Val. And yes I hate when my people try to use the race card for bullshit. But when my 6 year old daughter has to learn about why people at her school don't like her because of her color that's pretty fuked up. So I have to prepare my 6 year old daughter for muthafuken mind games already. Next year I will have to prepare my 5 year old son for the same type of shit. This is same type of shit I had to deal with, my mother, her mother so on and so forth. Come on don't you think I get tired of having to deal with that bullshit daily. i went through high school a white minority in la and san diego and racism works both ways. just as unblack people dont get where youre coming from you dont get where they are coming from either.
