Pascal had a tough fight with what looked like a journeyman. I didn't know him before the fight though.
This is my first time seeing Mosquera fight before. Is he this good, or is Alcine just struggling with the style?
I didn't realize anyone else was watching. The Pascal fight looked like two steroided out guys with some boxing knowledge going at it. The current fight is better.
I missed the Pascal fight. Who did he fight? I know my boy wants to fight him, curious to see if his career is progressing any or if he's already leveled off.
Never mind, just checked results and saw he fought Brian Norman. Did Norman just not fight back? Really no other excuse for Pascal to allow him to go the full ten
I forget the name of the opponent. Another muscled out strong guy. If i had to make a "stand" i'd say Pascal has leveled off. He landed the odd combination. What seemed to be regular for him in the past, now appeared to be based on memories of having done it. He looked a lot less fluid than he's been. The moves are there in spurts but no snap.
Yeah it's strange. Two years ago, I thought Alcine was the overhyped one (based on his then-perceived upset of Candelo) and that Pascal would make some noise. What a difference a couple of years make,
Norman won a few rounds and wobbled Pascal at the end of the 7th or 8th round. He won clearly but he struggled a little bit. As for Mosquera, that's the first time I see him but, even though I like him, I don't think Alcine is a very strong champ, I'm not surprised to see him struggle with what looks like a journeyman.
Good stoppage, and nice job by Alcine going all out to close the show when he could've easily coasted to the finish line.
Alcine never fought Candelo, the fight was called off hours before and a Sanchez guy stepped him and upset Candello, the Sanchez dude was then later stopped by Teddy Reid.
Jean Pascal has all the natural ability in the world, but that was a weak performance, he seems to have the mentality that his talents will carry him to wins. Unless he changes his mindset, hell find out that at the higher level, its hardly the case.
