I'm not racist at all...but my point on Ricky Hatton over Lennox Lewis is worthy of consideration is it not? opcorn:

 

Seeing that Lewis decided to base his pro career from England and was also born in England I would state that imo Lewis is the greatest British fighter ever, just on his record of opponents.
If Hatton wins tonight which I'm convinced he will, that would put him above Calzaghe for me just on the level of 2 of his opponents, Mayweather and Tszyu.

Let me ask you TB and some of my other Euro brothers.... So being a Welshman is considered being a brit? And Lewis is in some ways a brit? I think of Lewis as being Candian but I also know, from living in Canada that the Canadian understanding of national identity is tenous at best.

I think of Lewis as being British, but I'm not sure that he does, to be honest. Remember all that 'rasta' garbage he used to spout i his post-fight interviews? I always got the impression that he probably considered himself more Jamaican than either British or Canadian.

Anyone Born in England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland (not Eire) is considered a Brit by me. But I don't have a problem with others claiming to be British. I can see why Canadians would see Lewis as being Canadian, he lived a lot of years there and won the gold for Canada.
The issue of nationality is pretty tenous at best in any country I think, including over here.
