First up is Oleg Platov vs Danny Williams. Williams came in at 270, which in no way indicates that he came solely for the payday.

Wow, damn good first round. Platov came out blazing and hurt Williams but had to take a couple of big ones in return.

Much more tame round 3. Williams took over and Platov seems like he wants out of the fight

 

For real, Williams has showed up tonight so far, you never know what to expect with Danny

 

TKO4 because of the cut but Platov was taking a beating there. He had no way of stopping the stronger man from coming. He tried early with an outburst but that had no effect on Williams.

Good win and good performance for Danny (best he has looked since the Tyson fight). Platov was a wrong alarm.

It might have been a clash of heads that opened the cut, I think it was. Thus the decision was fair, although it was apparent that Williams was the better man and had deserved to win

 

Well, I don't know what to make of that. Yes Williams was in control at the end, but would he have been in control without the cut in the first place? Platov changed after the cut.
