Duddy stalks Eastman but Eastman landing more accurately IMO..crowd go nuts anytime Duddy gets eastman against the ropes but nearly everything bar a few actually get through..I'd give the edge to eastman

Eastman looks tired, Duddy pawing with jab, short lefts on inside land for Duddy, Eastman still landing the better IMO but probably not enough

A sloppy round, Duddy lands more jabs and rights as eastman noticeably tires...neither fighter has been seriously hurt..one round left

Both guys throw down for 3 min, not a great deal of accuracy, plenty of winging right hands, both are knackered, Eastman is done at European/World level...

best off feeding Duddy to Pavlik or whoever ASAP, he's not going to get better, in fact he may have regressed a bit since I first saw against the likes of Pierre, Campas, he doesn't seem to have any consistent game plan, bit of a jab, some flurrying....maybe he can fight Elcock next

Did Duddy deserve his UD? What the fuck has happened to Eastman...he used to be a good, good fighter...

 

I wasn't keeping score really but my impression was that Eastman deserved a draw...Duddy has looked a bit out of sorts since he started with Don Turner, maybe a coincindence, but he looked a bit confused tonight

Not really, I though he may have earned the draw, but 96-94 to duddy isnt unfair

 

How shot is Eastman, then? I'm presuming he didn't deserve to win, and my gut is to say that if he can't beat Duddy, then he is fucked...

 

Well, he showed some nice flashes, countered very well in spots and looked better arguably than he did against Elcock, but he faded worryingly from rd 8 onwards although in fairness he was forced to react to a higher pace earlier on than he would like...he will be likely outhustled by younger guys from now on, he's an opponent, he doesnt seem the type to retire to me though, it will take some hard beatings to make that happen I would think
