Take away Mickey Vann and holding/elbowing and SEVERAL Hatton fights might have been different.

The haters are out in force I see, well everybody gets their day in the sun I guess.

I'd say Hatton should fight either Witter in a big domestic scrap or De la Hoya for the money, and then retire. The Mayweather fight is the peak, he came up short due to not being good enough, fighting at the wrong weight for him, and probably being a bit past prime already (not that it would have influenced outcome greatly). It has been fun, thanks Ricky, time to wind down.

The delahoya fight would be all wrong from hatton IMO. The hitman should stay he belongs at light welter, beat that bum from the bronxs and maybe finish against Witter.

maybe the tszyu fight, but what else? most if not all of his opponents prior to tszyu were bums and/or hasbeens and hatton luckily didnt need to resort to his grappling tactics.

anyways, hatton should fight a bum in his next fight then go for witter in manchester.

No fighters with good learned skills can be succesful long after their physical abilities are diminished.

Hopkins is a very good example of this.

Everyone whining about Floyd fighting dirty. Should be forced to watch Hatton vs Tzyu and then make a case of Hatton being a clean fighter.

    Hatton should fight:

A bum followed by Junior Witter, then he might wrap it all in.

Whatever he does, he absolutely should NOT fight anyone decent at 147. He simply cannot fight at the top table at that weight. Even Billy Graham has told Hatton not to fight at Welter again.

This includes ODLH (even for $$$$$$)

I think Hatton needs a tune-up. Honestly, I can see Witter landing pretty much the same punch Floyd landed and fuck him up. Even Torres could catch him coming. He needs a confidence builder or two and then take on one of the best at his weight. Just my 2 cents.

I'm not giving Witter credit for Mayweather's win but I'm giving Witter credit for his own attributes. You cannot deny he's fast on his feet and he has a pretty hard and fast left hook. Hatton just got KO'ed in a way Witter can reproduce, he ko'ed Harris almost the same way. Hatton will be affected by this KO, that's why I think getting in the ring against someone that can exploit his weaknesses almost the same way Mayweather did when his confidence will be at a low point is a very bad idea IMO. After a confidence builder or two I think he'll be able to maul Witter out of the ring, but right now is the perfect time for Witter to beat Hatton. Hey, I don't particularly like Witter and I like Hatton, I'm just telling how I see it right now.

Already fought and beat Tszyu. Maybe Floyd could do that. After all, Floyd has the money.
