He is the best in his class, an honest good guy! He made the step up against the best fighter around to test himself, this you would think is something that every fighter would do but we all know they dont. They will fight eventually against a top guy for money but the Hitman is all about the sport, all about wanting to be the best. Too bad Hatton couldn't wear a hat. It would have protected his head when his head bounced of the ring post.

Some people on here are just small minded.... I have no problem in saying Money Mayweather was awesome.... But Hatton deserves respect...Even the pretty boy was gracefull after his victory.

I agree. Mayweather has done a great job of wearing the villain's hat. As he said before the De La Hoya fight, two nice guys don't sell tickets. I think he's a smart cat that understands that Oscar and Ricky have a huge fan base from their nice guy personas. Floyd countered that perfectly with his self-absorbed, trash talking, gangster personality on 24/7. Remember the golden rule, 90% of anything said pre-fight is done so to sell tickets.

Your right with the huge fanbase for Dela and Ricky there was only ever going to be one bad guy and he should get the Oscar for his performance...:: Some Floyd fans should show the same class as floyd after the fight. I read that he acted the same way in the post fight interview.
