I know he was a flashy ass clown but thats what boxing needs Charisma, flash & pizazz just to liven up the sport!it would just be great!
Personally, I'm glad Barrera beat this clown from pillar to post. Yes Naz was interesting...but his smirk needed to be wiped off his face.
Yeah but the short bastard wasn't boring, you always felt like you wanted him to get his ass kicked.!::
I used to hate Hamed when he was at the pinnacle of his career but I agree boxing could use a guy like him. He was fun to watch even though he was too arrogant for my likings.
He's just little fat man now.....still has money, but a recluse by all accounts. Apparantly, when boxing auctions are on in Sheffield and any hamed items are listed, people turn up to boo. ::
Great video! I wish he was still boxing! Love him or hate him he brought entertainment to the sport!:bears:
I miss that goofy bastard. I absolutely hated the guy, but he was GREAT for boxing. His flash, and charisma, along with his showmanship, and downright cockiness got people to watch regardless if they loved or hated him. We need more guys like this in the sport! :cheer:
I think Naz had the potential to retire undefeated had he not split with Brendan Ingle. After that he tried to become more of an orthodox fighter, relying solely on his power. Prior to the split he was so awkward to fight against, had a GREAT chin, and awesome power.
I agree to a certain extent. Oscar Suarez (WTF is he anyway?) and Manny Steward messed up Naz's style for good. He was a far superior fighter to that before and was near impossible to hit. "However" He may have still lost to the likes of Barrera and Morales and certainly to Manny Pacquaio.
Thanks for starting the customary we love naz thread for this quarter. This year has been one of the best for boxing in recent memory so you have to bring naz back up saying we need him. What a load of shit, give me good fights any day over flash and whatever else you said.
Serbs are notorious for bad pizza, you and I both know this. But thats what boxing needs, more pizzzzaaa, younahwhaimsaying?
EVERYTIME Naz is mentioned, someone has to go on to say how he would have been so great if he stayed with Brendan Ingle. Bla Bla Bla.
Why would anyone want Naz to be around now? All he would do is cause frustration as he ducks the top 5 in his division while fighting has beens and/or scrub up and comers. You guys think Naz would step in the ring with Pacman? :: He'd turn that fight down and have the guy killed who faxed him the contract. Then he'd speed dial the WBO and ask for another pass on fighting JMM just in case they try to make that fight again.
