I don't see PBF fighting in Manchester, or anywhere besides Vegas for that matter.

    I'd be all for it.

The KO was flukish. The scoring could have been closer. Hatton could do things differently. Floyd has nowhere to go but down in his performance.

I'd still pick Floyd, of course, but I'd look forward to a rematch.

    Cotto, Williams are 1-2.
    Dzin would be my 3.
Hatton, Margarito, Cintron, Mosley would all be in the next level.

And while not expecting or pushing for it, I'd put an Abraham or Pavlik fight at #1 with a bullet.

i dont think so....Hopkins carried DLH..then ended it with a wink..and a tap to the body....

Hatton was pushing Mayweather hard for the first 4-5 rounds....he was looking to hurt him....

DLH and Hopkins..i don't know what they were doing....Hopkins stayed off him for 5-6 rounds..allowing DLH to get away with 4 or 5 jabs a round...ass if he was some kind of hard puncher..he didn't jump on him at all....

and when Hopkins got going it was only one right hand at the time...and maybe a jab...but never push the action...

    Agreed.

I think if i was looking for a rematch, especially in another guys back yard i'd want to keep it a bit closer. You know, maybe leave something out there to at the very least warrant a rematch?

Hatton would never fight Floyd again. Notice in the post-interview he NEVER mentioned anything about wanting a rematch. He knows after Saturday that Floyd would put it on his ass no matter how many times they fight.

What the hell could Hatton do differently? He's not the type of fighter who can switch up game plans. The muthafucka only fights ONE way! He fought Floyd the same way he has everybody else in his career, it just didnt work. Floyd wouldnt even waste his time on a rematch. A rematch is only needed if there was doubt left in the first fight as to who the better man is. Floyd left NO DOUBT as to who the better man is.

Hatton dont want a rematch anyway. If he did, he woulda mentioned wanting one by now. He's gonna go back to 140, fighting no-hopers and has beens again.

Thats because Hopkins-DLH was FIXED! I'll always believe that, cause its the truth! That fight was the biggest disgrace in boxing history cause it was PRE-scripted.

He could try to land a shot to the body, for starters. He could get a ref that lets him fight his style in the first 3 rounds. He could land more often. He could avoid getting tagged.

Under your reasoning, a lot of history's greatest rematches wouldn't have happened.

    You guys are a trip!

I do think Floyd COULD have KO'd him a lot eariler.. FLoyd is smart but IMO he is getting a little lazy.. I think there is no doubt that there will NOT be a rematch.. there was nothing about that fight that makes you want to see it again.

seriously.. if they fought again. I'd pick Floyd to stop him within 4

Nah, next time if they fight, it should be in the UK at 140. Floyd would win again but not by KO. More like a decision. Floyd would open up more because of the confidence that he KO'd Hatton in their first encounter, which would mean Hatton would have a better chance to land on Floyd!

What was flukish about the KO? He almost landed that same hook over and over.

He landed it at the end of the 8th round in the same exact corner and hurt Hatton. Then he knocked him down and hurt him. How is that a fluke?

Wow your shit never gets old does it Hanzy. Hatton can't land shit on Floyd and he easily knocks Vicky out at any weight.

Rematch for what. You must hate Vicky. Mayweather already won 8 of 9 completed rounds to anybody who knows how to score a fight correctly. He landed alot of clean punches and Vicky landed nothing. The fight wasn't close at all so therefor no rematch.

Usually, a rematch occurs when there's an upset, a great fight, a controversial fight/inconclusive ending, a close fight, mandatory challenger, or something in the contract.

To the best of my knowledge, Mayweather-Hatton was none of the above.

I do not think that Money carried Hatton. However there is absolutely nothing Hatton can do in a rematch. Hatton will still get caught with lead rights, the left hook and jabs. I mean Hatton hasn't been known for his defense. So in that case there could be more turnbuckle action. I could also see Money turning up the head and going for broke earlier in a rematch thus stopping Hatton quicker. I'll Holla 5000
