I thought he said it sometime before the Mercer fight.

Steward ended up largely being proven right about Lewis though (not about the lasting rounds, but that he would be great...which not a lot of people were buying after the McCall knockout).

Steward says a lot of out there things anyway. Remember when he said Shambra Mitchell was faster than Floyd Mayweather and would give him a really tough fight?

Andy Lee seems pretty good, but he's still young and needs more experience. He's been a pro for less than 2 years.

 

I know I know.....maybe Manny is talking out his ass, but its still nice to hear some good old fashioned BS from Manny.

Lee looked classy in flashes, and was fighting a naturally bigger man with more experience, used to fighting at a higher weight, and he did outclass him, could have had him out of there in the 2nd but for the bell.

And he closed the show pretty good.
