That's pretty much what Norris did for his whole career, except for the "great" part:lol:

Tough fight, stylistically, for Mayweather. I think Norris wins a close decision at 154...

wtf? norris is the king of knocking out welterweights. floyd's not even a natural welterweight.

norris would fuck mayweather up and knock him out early.

It's not very easy to knock out Mayweather. You must first, hit him with regularity.

I think at super-feather Floyd might be just as good as Sly represents him. He looked really marvellous back then. Not nearly as much so when he started to get mass (we all know how pro athletes get it)

mayweather was hurt by judah early on.

norris would serve him like he did vs maurice blocker.

There's a huge gulf between getting stunned momentarily and getting stopped.

Thomas Hearns stunned Hagler in the first round, worse than Judah stunned Floyd. Does this mean that Mikkel Kessler, Roy Jones or Calzaghe would stop the smaller Hagler?

Sorry but Terry Norris WAS a front runner, and a chinless one at that. Bigger than Floyd he was, but not "better all around."

Norris never beat anyone as good as Floyd and he was beaten by lesser fighters than him too.

Lets not overrate Terry either now.

norris was a front runner? hmm, from what i recall, he usually knocked the shit outta guys or shut them out over 12 rounds.

he has a shitty ass chin, but floyd certainly wouldnt have done anything to take advantage of that.

judah is pure reflex and no skills. he got outboxed by baldomir, someone norris would've thoroughly whupped.

brown punched a lot harder than floyd at 147. oh, and norris beat him easily in the rematch.

stylistically, i just can't see floyd winning this fight nor lasting the distance.

Norris by clear decision at 154.

And Joony, your retarded for suggesting that Norris is a better overall fighter than Floyd. Floyd is CLEARLY a much more gifted, and better fighter, but he would lose to Norris at 154 due to the size differance.

P4P Floyd mops the floor with Terry.

Norris stomps Mayweather in a very one sided fight. Mayweather has very little he could do to discourage Norris, or to put him on the defensive. Ain't nobody outboxing Terry Norris. You had to hurt him or challenge him physically and thus expose his stupidity.

    It's man vs boy here.

The size difference between the two isn't big enough to offset the ability gap to such an extent that Norris dominates Mayweather.

Ability wise, Mayweather is a better fighter:

    1. He's smarter
    2. More Elusive
    3. Better chin
    4. Better body puncher
    5. More versatile

Norris is 5'9" to Mayweather's 5'8", similar reach, similar speed.

As already mentioned, Norris usually feasted on smaller guys that were ALSO at the end of their careers. The only smaller guy that he faced that was still close to prime (that I can recall) beat him in their first encounter.

Norris was a very good fighter, of this there can be no doubt, but I think you are seriously underrating Mayweather if you believe that he can be DOMINATED by Norris.

When has Norris dominated a fighter of Mayweather's calibur, who was still in his prime?

I agree. I think Norris wins, and wins clearly, but it wouldnt be a domination. Floyd would win his share of rounds. Norris beats him 7-5, or 8-4.

    Mayweather isn't 5'8. 5'7 at best.

Norris is to big for Mayweather and has too much offensive for Floyd to counter.
