Does anyone else recognize a change in Roy Jones' speech pattern?

He is the guest fighter on FNF fights tonight. I know Jones has a country accent, but his speech does not seem as sharp as it normally is. Maybe its just me.

No. He always talked like shit. A little bit into his stint as an HBO commentator, his speech improved a little bit when he started talking a little slower and stopped incessantly talking about himself for a brief while.

 

I mean in comparison to his speech before.

 

Again, he's always spoken like an idiot.

 

LOOOOOL! i was wondering the same thing... but he changed it on the show i think someone told him to talk slower so he started out weird in the beginning but went back to his normal speech after a while! :bears:

I actually brought this up about a month ago. Roy's speech is starting to slur. He should hang 'em up before he ends up like Meldrick Taylor.

Jones's speech has always sucked. When he tries to talk normal, like when he's on Cribs or when he's doing commentary, he sounds okay. When he's talking with his friends, he sounds like the idiot he is.

 

as Rubio said he always talked EXACTLY like yesterday.

 

Ok....so two people start two different threads a month apart about it. I guess that's just a coincidence.
