Likely but also take into account that pituatary giants start breaking down by their early 30s in most cases, which is why the age gap between 27 year old Hong and 44 year old Giant Silva is significant. Hong Man at 44 will be long broken down and retired. Giant Silva began his mma career in his 40s so he was never expected to be really any good.
Remember Andre the Giant at 26 years of age doing drop kicks off turnbuckles compared to age 40 when he was completely broken down and not even able to stand up straight while needing surgery on his legs and back just to walk?
If Hong Man is gonna make a serious run in MMA, he's got some very good years right now to train and give it a good go.

He lifted Fedor's entire 235lb body off the ground with just his right arm. Crazy.

As we speak, yes he is a circus act....but ,to say he doesn't have potential is insane!!

They said Bob Sapp was a circus act too. But then you see the tremendous war he gave the at-the-time reigning Pride heavyweight champion Noguira in 2002 and you know it's not true at all. Strength and size does matter if you know how to use it. Hong Man has the potential. He's obviously very difficult even for Fedor to take down which is saying something since there's no man Fedor has ever had a problem with taking down.
But ability is another thing and that's what Hong lacks, but he can still improve considerably. To use his strengths, his heavy hands.

Size matters a hell of a lot more in MMA than it does in boxing. When that big ass bastard was on top of Fedor I was thinking "damn, that fuckers gotta be heavy" and "its gonna be a bitch to get out from under this guy". The proper use of ones weight and strength by a fighter while on the ground can be a huge asset for the bigger guy.

That was so utterly, intensely gay. Is Van Damme a raging homo?

OMG look at van damme's eyes. It looks like he wants to fuck Fedor! Even Fedor himself gets uncomofrtable there at the end.

Van Damme is lucky Fedor didn't crush him like a bug for attempting that intense gayness.

Van Damme was going to have Fedor star in BloodSport 2 as his main enemy. Don't know if that's still happening.

We will only see how good Fedor is when he enters the OCTAGON.

But there is nobody at heavy who can beat Fedor there even.

Couture would have a great chance. With as easily as Fedor's face fucks up, and elbows allowed in a cage, Couture could get him down and cut him up.

The UFC don't have to change anything. They are beyond profitable. Coutures chances are a lot less anywhere else BTW.

As a fan it would be great if they did work with other promotions, like in boxing though but they only care about UFC and "Ultimate Fighting" and could care less about MMA the sport which is understandable from the buisness side but it sucks for the the fan.
