I'll go with Dawson for sure. I love Glen though he's all heart and determination but the guy is zoning in on 40. Dawson too young too fresh for this old warrior. Dawson UD

Dawson should stop him late. It'll be a very good test for him, though.

Johnson is less of a test than Adamek was, but a better name on his resume. Dawson wins easily.

First he fights Briggs leftovers...now Woods leftovers. This is the best 175 pounder in the world?

    Briggs' leftovers? hmmmm

I'd rather he be fighting champions, but right now Dawson is pure poison with the less risk/and/or/higher payout guys hanging around this division. And, imo, everyone is 'less risk' than Dawson (maybe not Calz and Kessler).

It makes sense for Dawson to fight a name like Johnson, on major tv, with an impressive showing likely. If he doesn't get a big name opponent later in the year, he needs new management.

boring matchup. boring one sided fight. dawson won't get any decent opposition fighting on showtime.

    I concur!

Never seen Dawson fight but Glen seems way past his best and this dawson dude is supposed to be the best in the division.

dawson may or may not be the best in the division, but he'd surely beat the bloody daylights out of woods

That maybe true but I think Woods would be a bigger challenge than Glen

    Considerably bigger, in fact

IMO, Clinton Woods is one of the most underrated champs in World boxing. Not saying he'd definately beat Dawson, but for me that fight would be a pick 'em at this stage.

    Dawson beats Glen, btw...

question: the guy Johnson just got finished beating - was he the same Pineda that Trinidad took care of at 147?

pineda looked like he weighed about 190 pounds. johnson still beat the shit outta him.

i expect dawson to win a decision, but it's going to be interesting to see how he handles johnson's pressure in the midrounds where johnson seems to be most active.
