This fight is going to be hard to watch! Tito and RJ are 2 of my favorite fights of all-time. But I side with my countryman here. I just hope neither gets hurt.

Tito in his prime didn't belong in the same ring with Hopkins. Surely even a safety first Roy will win this one.

There are too many variables in this fight! We all know both fighters are past their best. We need to wait and see how Tito looks @170. Also how the layoff will effect Tito. Will 170 hurt RJ? Can Tito hurt RJ? Too many variables. We have to wait and see.

    variables for sure..

but to me, Tito will NOT be a one punch KO guy at that weight

And 2) Tito will NOT be able to take Roy's shot at ALL!!

When has RJ become a 1 punch ko artist? Tito has proven to take a better shot at higher weights. Yes he got stopped @ 160 but it took a 12 round beat-down. RJ is the one with a suspect chin here. Tito's power is not proven @170 but we shall see.

    Roy can hit!

the thing here is.. even as shot as Roy might be..

he is FASTER without a doubt.. Faster than Tito and faster than anyone Tito has ever fought

He hits harder than anyone Tito has ever fought

Roy has been hit by MUCH harder hitters and bigger guys than Tito

    By G. Leon

</TD></TR><TR><TD style="PADDING-RIGHT: 20px" vAlign=top bgColor=#ffffff>Last night former pound for pound king Roy Jones Jr informed Boxingtalk.com that he is having a tougher than expected time making weight for his eagerly anticipated clash with Puerto Rican legend Felix Trinidad, slated to take place at Madison Square Garden in less than two weeks. "It's been a bit tougher than I expected. I'm going to get there, but I ain't think it was going to be this hard," said Jones. Full exclusive interview with his Royness to follow first thing Monday morning, so stay tuned. Remember where you heard it first! (4:27 PM EST)

This is nothing new but interesting. If the fight goes tot he later rounds, it will be interesting to see how RJ is affected

When he fought at 160 and 168. This fight is at 170 but Trinidad will not take Roy's punches well.

Roy was a bigger puncher at 160-168 than Tito was at any weight.

I hate this fight...:shit: *even if Tito wins..99.5% that he won't win..but if he did win, so what? What is he going to do?? retire again? :dunno: If he could at least make 160 he could challenge Pavlik for the title...but he can't even make that weight...

This could be a good night for Roy Jones fans.Trinidad is the type of opponent that can make Roy look like his younger self again.

Jones had a shitload of trouble making weight against Tarver the first time, and he still did enough to win the fight. But, shit. No WAY Trinidad beats Antonio Tarver or anyone like that.

A argument can be made here. Roy's power is based on speed. I think Trinidad is the bigger puncher.

That's stupid and wrong. Trinidad might have been a better puncher, pound-for-pound, but head-to-head, at 170, Roy Jones is faster, stronger, more accurate and simply better - in every single way. Trinidad's going D-O-W-N!

Well thats what I meant. You guys might as well stamp the "S" on Roy's chest and call him superman. You guys are talking as though Roy has never been KTFO. He's 39 years old now, He's not the Roy of old.
