Taylor had Pavlik almost out the first time I say he gets it done this time!

I think this is a horrible prediction. No offence, Hex-One.

Pavlik by UD, and he drops Taylor twice.

If Taylor wins, that would suck, because the title is not on the line.

and damn you ron king, this fight is in like a month and a half. I thought it was next week or something. That's usually when these final prediction thread pop up.

but it's not a title fight. That takes away from it.

 

I'll take Taylor by KO. The weight difference will make the difference for him. Then I'll take Pavlik by KO in the rubbermatch.

 

The weight gain will help Pavlik as well. He has a tough time making 160.

 

Pavlik is bigger than Taylor. If the extra weight is an advantage to anyone it's Pavlik. I have a hard time imagining Pavlik making 160 any easier than Taylor.

I'm taking Pavlik by KO. I can't see it any other way really. The way Pavlik beat Jermain the first time was just too convincing. He wore him down and KO'd him. This wasn't some fluke, he beat Jermain down and he's going to do it again. Sure Taylor could land something big and win the fight but I don't think it's likely. Pavlik won't be careless like he was before and I really don't see anything Jermain could improve upon except maybe his stamina.

 

I don't see what Taylor can do different. If Pavlik can hit you with power shots hes gonna knock you out. Ill go with a 9th round KO.

 

Pavlik takes Taylor seriously and Ko's him again.... even quicker this time (6th). LOL at the guys saying Taylor will finish him this time. As the only time he rocked Pavlik was when he was making faces being funny more or less. Do you really think he'll do that again?

Pavlik by decision. The only reason he got the KO is that Taylor punched himself out.

The only reason why the last fight was close was because Pavlik made a big mistake clowning and it was his first really big championship fight.

Can there really be any doubt what will happen this fight? Taylor will join Left Hook Lacy on the skids and people will be left to wonder how this guy ever got his hand raised to begin with. And if it ewas not for Duane Ford nobody would care because Taylor would have never gotten another fight with Bernard and would have been beaten long ago by a guy like Miranda, or any palooka with a decent jab.

 

Pavlik by KO, anytime in the first half of the fight. That chin has been cracked, and that already fickle confidence has to be shot. Taylor will go down easier this go around. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go down multiple times before being counted out.

Taylor will fight scared this time around and will take few chances but he will tire down the stretch and Pavlik will close the show once again

 

Pavlik was rocked even before he tried to mock Taylor with the faces after catching an elbow.

I don't think Taylor can win though. Pavlik was having a field day with the jab and straight right hands. He'll continue to land them and stop Taylor again.

 

I agree he stops Pavlik in 7KO. That laser jab will be back and he will keep Kelly in the middle of the ring.

 

Taylor hasnt shown a laser jab in like 4 years, and that was against bums. It might not ever be back.

 

I'll go with Pavlik by KO in the mid-to-late rounds. Taylor is there to be hit and I think his confidence is going to be shot. He gets visibly discouraged and once Pavlik lands a decent shot on him I think he'll get really shaken up...

 

Pavlik will KO Taylor in 4-5
