Could've gone either way....a point victory for either fighter or a draw would've been fine....the judge that had Malignaggi up 5pts was watching a different fight...:dunno:
i agree. but from my stand-point, i'll always have trouble scoring it for a guy with a style like paulie's.
I thought Herman won it pretty clear. He had Paulie on Queer Street about two times,and landed most of the punches that did land for either fighter.
It was a sloppy fight both ways but it did seem Paulie was getting credit for simply not getting hit sometimes. It's not like he was throwing a lot back. I swear judges have begun to count clinches as punches landed. :dunno: Paulie should be a gatekeeper and not much more.
I honestly can't say because it was hard to pay attention to the fight. I sure don't plan on watching it again to score it.
terrible fight. i thought herman pulled it off, but a lot of the folks at ringside had paulie winning.
Ngoudju won it clearly but..... It was a terrible fight on both sides. Ngoudju landed the much much harder punches and the most punches but was still wild. Malignaggi might as well give up boxing because he has zero offence. Crap decision for a really bad fight.
