not even a week before Trinidad/Jones and there are hardly 10 people roaming the boards or even talking about it.:: War double KO:bears:
Do you think that is more of a product of Fightbeat struggling, or a function of the overall fan reaction to the lamest PPV since...ever?
It is both, although this is one of those fights that as bad as it is on paper and no matter how people swear it means nothing everyone will be watching IMO.
the build up to tito-jones was pretty lame. i think almost everyone including his beloved PR fans know tito will lose, which is probably why the ticket sales have been less than stellar. i guess there are no roy jones fans out there anymore to see him win one last major fight before he calls it quits.
He has no fans. The ones that show up will help lift the stretcher he will be in when Tito KO's his ass Cupey
Or maybe "Better late than never" I don't know, I'm kinda looking forward to this fight, though I'm not expecting much. I wouldn't be surprised if they both play it safe and there's not too much action...other than the last seconds of some of the rounds or something. I don't really care who wins... but maybe it's the possibility of Roy getting knocked out that makes me want to watch this ::
Tito could KO RJJ in 1 rd, or vice versa, and really what would it mean? What would it mean for the future of either guy? Absolutely nothing, therefore the fight has no appeal. It's like Mayorga versus Vargas 2.0.
