the worst part of this is that no matter the outcome, I can't see how this crap will be watchable. People that think Roy is gonna blitz Tito apparently haven't wwatched him in the last 10 years, and people who think Tito is live, apparently havent watched him in 4 or 5::

based on roy's last fight against handshaw (considering handshaw is bigger and better than the current version of tito) and tito's pathetic showing against winky, i dont think a KO win for jones is a bold prediction.

but i wouldnt be completely shocked if tito lasts the distance.

that I was wrong.

Tito can take a punch, even though his defense is terrible, and he just sucks with footwork, I don't se Roy "going after him" enough for a KO. That just isn't the way he approaches boxing, and so I see a very unwatchable, very slow clowning by Roy

 

Actually what the Roy fans, all two, are going to see is vintage Felix Trinidad. You won't see the one dimensional fool that fought Wright or Bernard. You are going to see classic Trinidad with the boxing, jabbing, and laser percision punches. You'll see the Trinidad that made Roy Jones declare on HBO "Tito is #1". Tito will play this smart. He knows Roy is bigger than him, so he'll use what made him rise to the top and be very selective of his punches. Hence I think it can be a dull fight. Roy will show some of what made him a good fighter, but in the end Tito will show why pound for pound he's still THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!

Roy won't have to "go after him." Tito will be there...walking into straight right after straight right, eating vicious body shots and eventually giving in. Roy doesn't have to be the old Roy, he just has to be the one who fought Hanshaw and Tito's going to bed. But if he's lost even some of that...ugh.

 

I see Jones doing a lot of damage with his counters....if Tito goes the distance it is because Jones didn't have the reserves or the courage inside him to finish him off

I think it's very possible the fight could go the distance, because Roy is probably going to be scared of getting KTFO again.

 

When Roy is content to potshot and move, he wont be in a position to get a KO.

 

I don't think that's much of a mystery. He'll undoubtedly retire again. (of course that's to say he'll never fight again)

 

But Don't U Think Roy's "Potshots" will have MORE of an Effect on Tito (Probably a Natural WELTER) than Other Opponents????...
