Cintron would cry after this fight ....

Cintron , unless he landed some sort of freak bomb , would get broken down. His stamina would fade , he would get discouraged and Cotto would stop him.

I hope Cotto takes this fight! He can Unify the titles and Beat the living shot out this bum! I can't stand Cintron!:warning: His only shot is to land a freak bomb like you pointed out.

i would pick margarito, cotto, williams and possibly even clottey to defeat cintron.

if i were him, i'd get my ass kicked by cotto and make the most $ out of it.

if he gets stopped by margarito again or get schooled then quit agaisnt williams or fag out agaisnt clottey, he'll probably won't see another significant payday as he would be getting against cotto.

    smart move on his part.

also, stylistically, he has the power and size to knock cotto's head off. the scenario is definitely not in his favor, but regardless, the risk factor against the aformentioned foes equate to the same amount as facing cotto, but the reward is much greener.

He had to pull out of the Williams fight because of his hands. When Cotto's name is brought up all of a sudden his hand will be healed in time for that fight.

Someone needs to tell Cintron there's a difference between being a titleholder and being an elite fighter in his division. Right now he's just holding that belt until he fights either Clottey, Cotto, Williams, or even Margarito who would all likely beat him. If he wants a name guy he could beat he should have tried to fight Judah before Margarito did.

There are still big question marks around Cintron dispite those 2 wins he recently had--1 being impressive the other not--so if he really does want to fight Cotto, I'd much rather see that happen then see Cotto face Gomez.

Cintron is the kind of guy who'll always have an excuse after a fight when he loses. Fuck him.

I believe this fight if it takes place would be at a later date than the Williams fight would have been.

Why is Cintron getting so much shit for wanting to face Cotto? Unification is good as far as I'm concerned and a Cotto vs Cintron fight shits all over a Cotto vs Gomez mismatch.

I agree it's a better fight and would like to see it. I just don't like his dismissive attitude to every other fighter. He's acting like he's a huge name and should be able to pick and choose only the big money fights. He's only a beltholder and was embarassed in first real test.

I don't care about any of that, all I care about is seeing a better fight. Cotto fighting Alfonso Gomez is just stupid. It's a waste of time and nobody cares about that fight.

I don't disagree on that at all. I mentioned as much in another thread when the possibility of that fight was announced.

    He was.

Cintron's just trying to deflect the criticism after Paul Williams has been calling him out.
