Felix Trinidad vs. Roy Jones FINAL PREDICTION

Tito can take a punch, if anything. If and when Roy visibly hurts him (which he hasn't done to an opponent in years, unless he did to Hanshaw since i didn't see that) Its not like he'l risk getting caught, I mean he'll have to absolutely bomb Tito with something that has him out on his feet for this to be a KO IMO

 

Both fighters are shot, Roy much more so then Tito, but Roy still has the size and speed advantage. Jones probably doesn't have the power to knock down a cardboard cutout of Tito, much less Tito himself, but he should still be able to avoid most of Trinidad's best shots.

After running the numbers through the TFKTron-3000, I've calculated that this fight will end in a draw.

I pick Roy via mid rounds KO. But if at any point Roy sees that Tito isn't gonna cave in, he'll be content to box his way to a UD... Roy's arrogant, but he's not a dumbass either. He's not gonna give Tito the only chance he has to win(A lucky shot)...

I have to be honest. I wish that this fight was never signed. At this stage in their careers neither one of them needs this fight. It does absolutely nothing. Roy should be fighting Johnson, Tarver, Calzaghe, Kessler or some other cats in or around his weight. That being said this is the prediction thread so I have to make a prediction. DROPPED him N 1 Round & VISIBLY Hurt him a Couple OTHER Times...& Hanshaw was UNDEFEATED...REED Seriously DOUBTS Tito would BEAT Hanshaw @ All, Let alone OUTCLASS Him as Roy Did...

Tito's Chin was AVERAGE @ Best from 147-160...He's Been DROPPED Double Digit Times...It's NOT like Tito is Known for Having a GREAT Chin or Anything...

Roy's Gonna B the HARDEST Puncher Tito's Ever Faced, Not to Mention the QUICKEST HANDED Fighter...& Even his Potshots will AFFECT Tito...

In Tito's first comeback before the Winky Wright fight he DOMINATED a top 20-30ish fighter in Mayorga and proceeded to get obliterated by Wright. Facing the Anthony Hanshaw's of the world doesn't change things. Jones looked horrendous the last two times he fought anyone near top 10, not even putting an effort against Tarver who he knew could hurt/KO him.

Tito is a diferent fighter than Roy, but you being the RJJ fan you are knows he is not gonna take risks if he doesn't have to. He doesn't need to. He will handle Tito from the outside and potshot his way to a clean 12-0 type decision, as long as he doesn't get caught.

 

Roy KO 2. I don't know why but I'll surely watch it, even though Tito is my favourite fighter... It's expected so I guess it won't hurt too much...

 

That's a fucking ridiculous fight BTW... I believe Tito know inside of him he'll get waxed, he can't be that delusional. He must be in dire need of money. If he really wanted to come back, he'd have made his comeback gradual to shake off the ring rust. Instead he's fighting against a guy that has almost all advantages over him, a faded legend, 2 division over what was far from his best weight. :doh:
