Haven't heard from him lately, it's almost like he's in hiding. I think he should probably retire. There's a bunch of guys he'd have a good shot against beating but really there's nothing left for him to prove. All he wanted was to fight Floyd and now that's not going to happen. I think unlike Roy and Tito that his ego won't let him hang around forever and even if he wanted to fight on, Jin wouldn't let him.

The day you see Mosley fighting longer than he should be, you'll know he has a divorce in the works.

The only reason i see for him to stick around is matchup with Mayweather. That probably won't happen so me should just hang em up.

But even then it's a forgone conclusion that Floyd beats the stuffing out of him. So he should just retire now, unless he wants to add a little loot to go out with.

Well if he wants to go out with a win he should fight Mayorga. Shane would beat the shit outta Mayorga. But none would fault him if he retired now, and he has nothing to be ashamed of in his final fight. He pushed a young superstar to the limit, and nearly beat him despite the fact that he's considerably past his prime.

Of Course Shane should STILL Fight...It's ALL He Knows...

& Even Though he's PussyWhipped, SURELY he Needs some DOWNTIME from Jin's BOSSY Ass...

It's NOT Like Shane Got DOMINATED by Cotto or Anything...Shane is 1 BIG Win Away from Being Right Back N the Welterweight Picture...

Shane vs. Margarito, Zab, Williams or even Cintron R ALL Interesting Fights 2 REED...Any 1 of those Cats Could USE a "Name" like Shane Mosley on their Resume...

Yeah but some of them (especially Zab) would probably find their name on their resume' with an "L to" in front of it. Also a fighter has to retire at some point, Mosley may as well go out now. Also after watching the Cotto fight twice, I came away thinking Mosley won about 4 rds. The first time I thought it was almost a draw.

Shane can't retire. The sport needs him to be that guy who will fight all of the guys nobody else wants to fight (Forrest, Wright and Cotto).

Too bad PBF is too big of a pussy to fight him.

Didn't Shane just fight two months ago? I thought that he beat Cotto. He should continue, he can definitely become world champion before he retires.

Nah he shouldn't retire. Mosley is still top 5 at 147, I would love to see him fight someone like Cintron. I think he would beat the crap out of Cintron and could pick up another tittle.

Mosley is at a point where he doesn't have to do anything. It is just my opinion that he has more left in the tank and he can still do some things.

By the way I thought Mosley/Cotto was alot closer than most had it. A clear win for Cotto but very competitive. It's easy to inmagine Mosley beating other big names at 147.

Especially when guys like Margarito, Cintron, and Williams all claim they are being avoided. :dunno:

    I dont think Shane retires..

I really like Shane, his attitude is awesome. He said in one interview "I will probably have 5 or 6 losses on my record before I retire, most the old greats do! it's from fighting the best!"

I do agree he should fight Mayorga though, probably make good money and look impressive in destroying the wild swinging bum
