Guess who’s back, Roy Jones Jr.,â€￾ Jones declared. “Ain’t nobody got the speed to handle me. Only Floyd Mayweather comes close to me and he’s still 10 miles an hour slower,â€￾ Jones quipped.

rjj is drunk with arrogance as he presumes an easy and impressive win over his under-sized, and frankly more likable opponent.

He is faster then Mayweather. Roys the fastest fighter ever.

Roy should have said he is faster then Zab Judah. Zab is faster then Mayweather as well.

Tito's timing is great, I agree.

Retire for 5 out of the last 6 years, come back, go up a division and fight a guy who has you beat in every area. Can't beat that timing.

Tito just wants a payday IMO. If he was serious about a comeback he'd have built up against a beatable opponent. Once he feels Roy's speed & power he'll realize he has no business in boxing anymore and go into a shell. Once Roy really starts to open up expect Don Felix to jump in the ring and secure that big ass check Tito will be getting.

Have you seen how hard he's been training? I've yet to see a bad word come out of ANY training camp. They've always trained hard and are in great shape.

Let's not also forget how big this payday is.

roy is faster, and whats incredible is that hes significantly bigger as well, that usually doesnt happen, bigger guys being faster than smaller, especially guys as gifted as mayweather

punching in combo or single shot roy is ridiculous fast, watch jones-johnson for some ridiculous 1 shot speed (well actually it was 2 shots in counter)

I saw one punch with no speed and it was thrown by Glen Johnson. I even moved out of the way but Roy didn't:doh:

Pretty much. Roy I believe really wants to come back. Thats why he's been building his confidence slowly with 2nd tier opponents. The good thing for Roy is that he's gone 12 rounds twice without getting KO'd or even buzzed.

He'll be too much of everything for Tito. I just hope the towel is thrown in fast the moment things start to get ugly.

Did you guys see the combos Roy was laying on Hanshaw in the 11th round (I think) of their fight? He probably still has the fastest hands in the world, and that could include Mayweather.

Is there anyone out there today who can do what Roy does with exactly one minute left in the 11th round here?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUE3NFhMdZo&feature=related

I know he's not very consistent anymore... and he doesn't punch at all the openings. But I still doubt anyone is faster with their hands.

what the hell is the point? It was cool for him to brag about this shit when he was fighting and beating the best in the world.

Roy could look fast getting off combos against guys like Hanshaw. But the moment he faces someone like Tarver he goes into a shell and in survivor mode.

That was my biggest problem in the Third Tarver fight. Sometime in the middle of the fight Roy was getting off combos on Tarver and won a round of two. So Physically he looked like he could compete. But of course with time he got buzzed and it all went out the window.

My point is that all that speed won't leat to anything big. He won't be the first to look faster than Tito, big fucking deal. :dunno:

It will be funny when Floyd responds to this.

Roy hates to get hit. When Tito blasts him with a punch he'll go on the ropes and cover up. This might play out like Mayweather- De La Hoya with Tito being the agresser and Roy picking his shots until Tito slows starts running out of gas. But if Tito's desire is for real than he might surprise some people.

Floyd is a faster all around fighter because he can still move around like a young man.
