Am I the only one NOT clamoring for a Wlad-Peters rematch??

According to Jim Lampley, the whole world is on pins and needles waiting for this, and I should be too. :dunno:

Did I miss something? At what point did Wlad-Peters II become the next heavyweight superfight? And since when did Wlad need to beat Peters again in order to prove anything?? Hell, doesn't Peter still have to get by fucking Maskaev before we even talk about him in with anyone??

You are spot on.... Peter has proved he is garbage. he showed he has some talent when he takes his training seriously (the second Toney fight). But he has also shown he is unwilling to take his training seriously. Mccline almost waxing him was the pinnacle for him imo. And frankly viewed retrospectively? Vlads victory over him means less and less as it becomes apparent how unskilled and physically limited he truly is in the ring.

I don't think there is any doubt at this point that Vlad can beat him because of his lack of preparedness and physical limitations. Frankly I think Brok could beat Peter. Brok just can't beat Vlad cause he is too small. Maskoev might beat Peter also... It is a real possability.

Lampley was just being stupid. When McCline makes you look stupid, no one wants to see you in with Wlad.

Fuck Peter, he already beat him convincingly. The belts need to be unified, whoever holds them.

Peter could still get him outta there... but I'd like Wlad by a big KO if the rematch comes off.

LIke i've been saying forever Peter is a fucking bum. His power is overrated ,Thanks to none other than glassy jeremy williams. His skills are very limited and even his chin was proved not to be all that. Wlad fucks him u easy again this time even easier. and no i don't wanna see them fight again at all. no point in it. Wlad would wipe his ass with this idiot.

I think Peter is highly overrated and would not be surpried if Maskaev got him out of there.

Ya me too. Maskaev handled Rahman twice and to be honest i think Rahman KO's Peter. ONly thing is Oleg has been out of ring for over a year and is getting very old.

Oh I guess the ratings on HBO are the main thing. The sold out gigs prove nothing.

Sam Peter deserves nothing right now. Klitschko is unifying soon. If he loses, how quick will Sam Peter be to offer Wlad a fight? Instead, his people will clamour for a shot against Ibragimov, for the Undisputed Title.

    I don't care about Peters/Wlad II

I would rather see Wlad fight the winner of Povetkin/Chambers:popcorn:

It's a laughable statement, and one Lampley probably wouldn't have said if Peter-Maskaev was still scheduled for Showtime.
