I'm no Tito fan, but he fought a damn good fight saturday night, I expected much more from RJJ, don't know if it's because he's shot or becase Tito fought better than expected but still, I think trinidad should continue fighting, if he could definitively make some noise at 160-168

So you say that Tito was 20lbs above his best weight? Hmm don't know about that. I mean Tito did do damage at 160 just ask Joppy. Hell he ko'd Joppy whereas Hopkins couldn't. Let me ask one question. Who would you pick to win Tito or Taylor. I think that's a pickem fight. I'll Holla 5000

You think 160 was Trinidad's best weight? Afterall, Joppy was his best win there which isn't saying all that much. Trinidad's best achievements were in 147 and 154.

Tito should stay active, fight Duddy, or Abraham, then when he decapitates them, fight 2 bums. After that he can challenge Jermain Taylor, or Pavlik, even Miranda. Those are winnable fights for him. He will not beat a superior technical fighter like roy, or hopkins. I migh even give him a chance against Calzaghe since Joe C likes to mix it up.

    Taylor.

Tito was good at 160, but it was not his best weight.

I like how Taylor suddenly became less of a joke than what is usually posted in this forum. But then again, look how Tito did against a joke of a Southpaw

Pavlik is the official hero of the boards. It doesen't say much for the hero if his biggest win is a clown.

There was plenty of Taylor hating to go around before Pavlik :nono: Much more in fact, they use Pavlik to back up their claims as proof all along.

    Tito should retire unless

    1. He needs the money

    2. He feels bad about retiring on a loss.

3.He really really wants another title for posterity sakes.

Well, Tito probably isn't any harder hitting or any more persistent than Edison Miranda at this stage. I would make Abraham just too tough and just too persistent. Tito sure wouldn't be winning any opening 3 rounds on work rate, thats for sure, and if he tries any of that low blow shit........

I agree with Ortho. Tito would get beat by both Pavlik and Abraham at this point in his career. He will never get that weight, though. He fought RJJ because it meant he can fight heavy and not train. He wants no part of 160. Not because he fears anyone or shit like that. Because he is older and rich. Therefore no hunger.

Makes no sense, he tried his best to win last night. Your theory is seriously flawed.

TiTo should never have taken this fight, it was a step too far. But credit to him for taking on Jones.

If he could make a lighter weight I would like to see him fight on.

Edison has nothing on Tito. He's a powerful wild swinger. Trinidad is an accurate power puncher, plus he have experience on his side. I think Trinidad finishes what Miranda couldn't and KO the turk in 10 rounds.

    Edison is

    1. A naturally bigger man.
    2. Younger
    3. Hungrier.

    Tito is
    .Retired.

I don't care how good a guy was. You are as good as your last weld and Titos last two welds have been busts.

I personally would like to see Trinidad go back down to 160 and work his way back with some fringe contenders and journeymen and stay active, but I don't think Trinidad has it in him to fight anything other than the big events.
