For Instance, Marco Antonio Barrera & Erik Morales Could Fight 100 Times & They'd have 100 Somewhat Fan-Friendly Bouts...

On the Other Hand, REED Doesn't Think Bernard Hopkins vs Roy Jones would EVER B an Entertaining Fight...

What Other Combination of Fighters would NEVER Produce an Exciting Fight & What Combination would Almost ALWAYS Produce an Exciting Fight???...

Obviously, Isreal Vasquez-Rafael Marquez and Riddick Bowe-Evander Holyfield made for excellent matchups.

James Toney and Montell Griffin don't match up well for entertaining bouts.

Agreed with Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins.

Safe to say i think that DeMarcus Corley and Junior Witter could never produce an entertainig fight.....Thomas Adamek and Paul Briggs match up well on the other hand

Zahir Raheem and just about anyone wouldn't match up well for good bouts.

How about Gonzalez-Carbajal as a match-up that produced both.

Fights between two southpaws are normally lousy. There are some exceptions, but it's overwhelmingly the case.

Foreman vs Bowe would have been an excellent fight aswell.
Ibeabuchi and Tua would have produced another good fight in a rematch

How about Vitaly vs Lennox Lewis?

Lewis has to fight guns blazing again since Vitaly has the reach advantage and Vitaly has an iron chin so Lewis wouldn't have blasted him out. It would have been another GRUELING match.

I bet Ruiz and Holyfield could fight say 3 times and never produce 2 minutes of entertainment. I'm speculating of course.

To be fair, Hopkins could probably make Hearns boring, and in against someone of reasonably equivalent class, Roy can also make anyone look boring.

In contrast Manny Pacquiao can make anyone exciting, the gus style is just beautfiul, same with Juan Diaz

thats fair, but Barrera is in some awful fights sometimes. I can't recall another Manny fight that was nearly as boring as anything Barrera has been in in the last 4 years

I actually thought the first fight was decent, and the rematch had one exciting round (well, when Ruiz dropped and hurt Holyfield).

It was the rubber match that was an all-time stinker.

Exactly, saying Ruiz-Holy was a boring triology is revisionnism history, the first 2 fights were pretty interesting and fun, but nobody ( well it still pulled awesome rating on HBO but you get my drift ) wanted to see the rubber match, and when it turned out to be a stinker, it became the common thing to say that every one of them sucked.

Chris Byrd, unless hes' getting pummelled.

Vernon Forrest has a boring style, so far only Mayorga made any Forrest fight entertaining.

4 Some Reason, REED Thinks a DeLa-Tito RE would B Exciting...

DeLa DOESN'T have the Mobility to Run the Last 4 Rounds & he Doesn't have QUITE as Much Speed to Thoroughly OUTBOX Tito Early...

    There'd B ALOT More Exchanges N a DeLa-Tito RE...
