I'm noticing alot of you who gave Tito ZERO shot are actually giving Tito some credit for the way he boxed Saturday Night. So let's get a site poll. Were you impressed on How Tito looked Saturday night? It was his first fight @170 and was retired for 2-3 years. I personally feel he will do pretty good @160. I think he should go for it.:bears:

I havent seen the entire fight yet but all the "experts" on here gave TiTo no chance, No matter what way you look at it TiTO going the distance is impressive.

he looked alright for the first 4/5 rounds. even in the later rounds, there were moments where he threw some nice shots to the body.

regardless, tito is a warrior. he took some heavyshots and still managed to stay in there and finish the fight on is feet.

I just saw the fight and both fighters looked way better than I expected. Yes, they have slipped but we knew that going in. Tito could go down to 160. The top fighters there would beat him, but he would be competitive. I think he should go down to 154 and fight DLH and that's the only fight to take.

Tito looked more than one dimensional. I was impressed with him more than I was with Roy.

It's nice to see Tito get some credit! I wasn't that hurt with Tito's defeat because he fought a good fight. I would like Tito to retire with a win. Maybe Don King can throw in a semi-good fighter that Tito can beat then hang them up! I don't think Tito can make 154 anymore.

Tito impressed me in the fact, I was saying he wouldn't last 6 rounds. With that said. Hex, do you really think Tito has the hunger and want to train consistently to be at 160? Just curious what you think, being a fan of his you might know something that I am not seeing, because I just don't see it.

But IF he did, I think he would be could be a force there, but I don't think he could beat Pavlik at this stage in his career.

I think he can make 160, but never 154. At this stage of his career I just want Tito to retire with a win. :bears:

Look's like his hand wraps still wiegh 20lbs, and he beat the shit out of Roy's hips that's for sure. I bet Roy is hurting right now from those hip shots.

But I thought he looked pretty good, other than just looking for the left hook. Once Roy used the Winky defense and took away that left hook, Tito had nothing.

I'd personally not want to watch Tito fight again no matter at what weight.

I wanna see Tito fight again.. if he could make JR Middle he'd do well but I don't think he can..

trouble is.. at middle he'd have to deal with someone like Pavlik and Pavlik would KO Tito for sure

I think he can still be a factor at 160.....maybe after one or two quick tune-ups maybe against CASTILLEJO, DUDDY or MORA...he would be ready for someone like Pavlik, Abraham or Taylor.......just stay away from Winky or any other defensively skilled fighter...

PAVLIK kicks Tito's ASS? Maybe...but it will be an exciting fight..Pavlik will be there to fight..will give Trinidad alot of chances to land clean hard punch....and if Pavlik beats Trinidad..then he will be teh first to have done it by fighting toe-to-toe punch for punch against Trinidad...

I just think at THIS point, while Tito showed Defense better than I expected in the Roy fight.. someone like Pavlik or even Joe C.. just too busy for Tito..

Considering REED thought Tito WOULDN'T Go 6 Full Rounds, REED was Fairly IMPRESSED w/his Performance...

REED still Thinks Roy COULD have Finished Tito, but it's NOT like Tito DIDN'T Take Plenty of HARD Shots...He Showed a BETTER Chin than REED Expected & he was SMART Enough to Attack Roy's Body when he was UNsuccessful N Hitting Roy w/Head Shots...

& Even when he KNEW he had LOST the Fight (after the 10th Round Knockdown), Tito STILL Tried to Win...

Overall, REED would Rate Tito's Performance a "B"...Other than Calzaghe or Winky, REED Thinks Tito has a LEGITIMATE Chance of Beating ANYBODY from 154-168...

If Pavlik WAXES Taylor as Expected & Tito Gets a Tune-Up WIN Under his Belt, a Pavlik-Tito Summer PPV would B HUGE & EXPLOSIVE!!!!....Pavlik SHOULD Win, but it WOULDN'T B Easy:nono: ...

REED would FAVOR Tito Over the Likes of Taylor, DeLa, Miranda....

Good post! I also think he can be a factor @160. But at this stage he should just get a win and hang them up. I hope he does that.:bears:

REED Can't Speak on Abraham (Never Seen him Other than Brief Highlights), but Kessler & Pavlik EACH Get HIT Enough where U CAN'T Completely Rule Tito OUT, N REED's Opinion...

I don't put much faith in the puncher's chance angle. Roy doesn't react very well to punches anymore, and he practially laughed at Tito's shots. Roy of course is a bigger guy than Trinidad, but Kessler and Pavlik aren't exactly small guys either. Also they have the power and style to have Trinidad fighting going backwards where Tito won't be able to sit on his shots.

Trinidad-Miranda would be the fight to see.

TBH, for me it was more about how lame Roy looked than what Tito offered.

Roy needs to retire, he's getting a beating soon.

Funny ow people refuse to give Tito a little credit. First off 99% of the forum expected a complete blowout in RJ favor. Tito fought for the first time @170 combined with a near 3 year layoff. And still Tito managed to fight a decent fight considering he was at a disadvantage in almost every department, speed, power, size ect... I admit I picked Tito but I knew deep that his chances didn't look good, but I'm a fan and I backed him 100%. Give the man some respect for fighting the great RJ. He could have opted for some bums but didnt.

Dude when was the last time Tito fought at 154? Wasn't it against DLH? There is no fucking way he's making that weight. His best chance is to fight at 160 and yes I give him great chance at beating anyone put in front of him cause he has that equalizer (LEFTHOOK). I'll Holla 5000

I was impressed with Tito. I had mixed emotions after the fight. I was sad he lost, but on the other hand, I was proud that he showed good form and tremendous heart. He put on a very good show and brought some good stuff out of Roy. All this at a weight that he never fought at before.

I would like to see Tito face Oscar. I'm convinced that he would beat him at 160. A fight against Jermain Taylor would be great. I wouldn't want to see him fight Kelly Pavlik because Pavlik I think would beat him badly, but I'd like to see Tito get a decent win under his belt before riding off into the sunset for good.

I'm a tell you what if Tito got Pavlik in trouble like Taylor did then that cat would be put to sleep. We all know that Tito is a fuken murder when he has a cat hurt. Also Pavlik will be there to take some shots. The question is will Pavlik be able to handle Tito's power? I would love to see that scrap after a fight or two for Tito. I'll Holla 5000
